The experience pitching this show and the others was super cool and an amazing learning experience that I'm really grateful for, and will continue to use as I continue to pitch to studios in the industry!
Funny thing is, before Sony I had actually sent this to Adult Swim Smalls (albeit it was a bit different, I had modified the story a bunch before I had sent it to Sony) and they liked it initially but after some revisions ultimately passed on it.
The art above was done by my amazingly talented friend Liz Denn (eliizoden.myportfolio.com) and I was super stoked about it! Unfortunately they passed on this one, but I had loads of fun writing it.
Earlier this year (and last year) I was given an opportunity to pitch a few shows to Sony Pictures Television, one of them was a horror comedy series I had a ton of fun writing called Diner At The Edge of The World:
