Think it's a bit of a harsh reaction from people. The Villa social was originally about a group of 5 anyway. Getting this many people together and making it work is no small task. You kind of need more of a known quantity for it.

Sure, it's a shame the single lap factor isn't there. But we've had several generations of perfectly optimised laptime machines that looked impressive as hell on the edge over a pole lap. But there's also been years of dire racing. I know which I prefer.
Still feeling very satisfied with the quality of the #F1 race. I didn't really feel aligned with the doom and gloom of the past few weeks and just wanted to see how they raced. It's only a sample of 1 race but it's definitely promising with how they managed to follow and race.

Excited for #F1. Grid already a tad mixed up. I enjoy fast mercedes. Big deltas in the cars should mean decent racing. Lots of energy strategy, should be plenty of ducking & diving with big gambles needed to make passes and make them stick.
Repeat is on sky at 7:30. That's pretty much perfect for me.

A thing to keep in mind is that when we were on a 10+ winning streak; no one was thinking we'd go on such a poor run, there wasn't any sign of it.
So while we're on a poor run and there's no sign of it turning around, it doesn't mean it can't and won't happen.
