sure but bsky doesn’t claim to be a regular social media platform. the whole point was to put its users and communities in control and make the experience maximally composable. the plane analogy doesn’t work bc i can’t preemptively choose to filter it out and prevent the potential mass hysteria
bsky’s pitch is quite convincing. DIDs, transparency, custom feeds, potential interoperability with fediverse.
X is full of engagement farming posts and rage baits, their creator program sucks, and it’s become a propaganda machine for elon. Overall very off putting.

turned off all the @moderation.bsky.app filters and I still can't view bsky.app/profile/hard... 's posts bc he got flagged doing a test. what's the point of algorithmic choice if ultimately a "moderation team" gets to decide what i see @support.bsky.team ?
