The analyses revealed no significant effects of social media abstinence interventions on positive affect, negative affect, or life satisfaction. Relationships between social media abstinence duration and the three outcomes were also non-significant.

The science of learning, drawing from cog psy, neuroscience, education, and design, offers probabilistic insights into effective instructional strategies. It is wrong when ideologies are misrepresenting the science as dogmatic or ignoring evidence.

I strongly hope the EU will use the full force of the Digital Services Act to dismiss Meta's invitation on its platforms to label people with different sexual orientations or genders as "mentally ill". At no point in history has unfounded hatred via dehumanising labels helped social cohesion.
If they haven't reported it, you'd have people asking the opposite. I suppose they've been receiving a lot via email that they've publicised, and this is the kind of content members of the public are understandably most empathetic about.
Seeing the growing failure of health service provision, it's not enough for politicians to be "ashamed". The abstract of the publication, which reads: While it is well-established that disability reduces the probability of electoral turnout, far less is known about the relationship between disability and support for particular political parties. Using nationally representative longitudinal data from Understanding Society we explore the relationship between disability and party support in England and Wales along left-right and protest dimensions. Consistent with our hypotheses, analysis of cross-sectional data suggests that, after accounting for demographic characteristics, disabled people are significantly less likely to support parties to the right and more likely to support protest parties. In contrast, however, after accounting for time invariant individual unobserved heterogeneity using panel data methods, we find no evidence of a relationship between disability and left-right party support, and far less evidence of a relationship with protest parties. We discuss and attempt to reconcile these findings.
