Danny & Ross commissioned this scene depicting a tender moment between their dragons - a pothos inspired dragon and a beetle inspired dragon. The larger dragon gently caresses her lady in waiting, putting weight on the leaf to draw her closer.

some entries in the ol sketchbook. first one was inspired by a photo of an old catholic statue from mexico. others are watercolor blob sketches. a nice creative exercise allowing me to draw stuff i might not usually draw.

I feel this in my bones. Getting an email from a big name, saying my work will be for a cover, I get tempted to ask, you sure about that? or did they mean to write someone else?
