also kitsune can use fire magic without tomes/scrolls (it's like a weak foxfire but can be trained to become more powerful) and wolfskin can punch through solid rock

there's literally no lore for them so i can do whatever i want!!! muahaha!!!

kitsune beaststones are beads that contain the pleased spirits of foxes who were killed by the curse, and wolfskin beaststones are abundant gems found in the mountains as they cleared the path (they’re identical in the actual game but idgaf)

the kitsune were hoshidan diviners who exorcised malicious spirits and lifted a curse from the forest that would become the kitsune hamlet, bringing the animals back. the wolfskin were nohrian miners who worked with a pack of wolves to clear a path through mt garou during a landslide

my made up bullshit lore for the kitsune and wolfskin from fe fates is that the original beastmen were just regular humans who pleased the spirits of nature by helping out the animals and were rewarded with magical furry powers LOL. all their descendants have animal features, like ears and tails

i've literally been listening to both all day, just flip flopping between the two. i love orange county a lot

he's very hardworking to make up for the fact that he can't use beaststones. he's not as durable as other wolfskin, so he utilizes tools and traps to hunt

as guarded as he is, he softens up easily with compliments or praise. that's the dog in him 🐶
