AND UNIVERSAL HEALTHCAREπππππΎ
Iβm going to look at 3 houses tomorrow, and one of them is on a LAKE. Like Iβm a fuckin ROCKEFELLER. (Granted itβs a tiny log cabin but SHUT UP.)
Also? Kids sitting outside a bar will hear some truly awful things, both towards them and overheard. As a dispensary regular, everyone I interact with in and around mine is the nicest, friendliest person ever. The kind of people who are good at interacting with kids. So many wholesome interactions.
Iβm house hunting again after ten years in my townhouse. I want to move back to a place where sidewalks exist.
Whenever Steve Winwoodβs βValerieβ comes on in a place I happen to be, I know Iβm in the right place.
Nothing will ever top that original picture but I need people to understand that this is probably one of the most unreal guys alive. A totally impossible guy. Like by all rights he should not exist but at the same time he could of course only exist in the dimension weβre all trapped in.
jfc did the nyt just post about 3 women getting murdered by a man and have the alert specifically mention how no one has any clue about the motive?! oh i don't know maybe a society that doesn't give a fuck about the safety of women and children? like, AT ALL?! friends i cannot.
My colleagues at ACRLog wrote short tributes to the life and work of Fobazi Ettarh @fobettarh.bsky.social. I wrote about her work on disability, which I think deserves more recognition. acrlog.org/2026/03/04/t...
Thanks @ezerrenner.bsky.social for coordinating. #CripLib #VocationalAwe
why do i feel like this is the story of the rest of our lives?
This delivery driver throws treats to all the dogs on his route to see if they can catch. Spoiler alert: some of them definitely cannot. Still 13/10 for all (TT: jezzyvi)
Women: We live in a constant state of vigilance because men pose a constant threat to us, here are literally millions of corroborating stories.
Men: What a scary time for men this is.
Informational graphic for the CUNY Immigration Assistance Project. It includes the CUNY logo and the phrases "Immigration Assistance Project" and "Citizenship Now!" The main message highlights that the project is a rapid response legal resource for individuals affected by immigration policy changes, travel issues, or detention by law enforcement. A call to action at the bottom reads "Learn More" with a link to cuny.edu/CIAP.
CUNY students and employees who need assistance with recent immigration policy changes can request a no-cost consultation with an attorney through the CUNY Immigration Assistance Project. Go to cuny.edu/CIAP.
when i'm looking to move, and white people say to me, "that's not a good area" i ALWAYS ask, "are you just trying to say that black people live there?" because around here that's usually what they mean.
It turns out theyβve agreed to fix errors within 48 hours, a thing I can actually check on, since I submitted 3 error reports last week.
EmblemHealth is my insurer. Iβm not imagining things, even though thatβs how they try to make me feel every time I call them for help! www.propublica.org/article/embl...
I swear I both started and am ending my day on this post god bless the feed
a close second was the fact that i only exist because of the manhattan project (my paternal grandparents met while both working at oak ridge)
Orlando Jones once called me "the BEST crazy cat lady"
hey it got me out of a meeting about AI so maybe not ALL bad
my poor donut has gotten a lot of usage for realz
it was the kind you feel in your bones when you hit itπ¬
did i mention i hit a huge pothole outside of campus and got a flat tire on my way in? i am having a fun day.
the things that i have to explain to the youths on a daily basis is WILD. as in, yes, the school gives you free access to the NYT, but no, i cannot cancel your paid subscription for you. trying to explain how a paid NYT account is like an Amazon or Walmart account; i cannot troubleshoot it for you.
Also the level of hypocrisy some peopleβs brains can handle is WILD. Cognitive dissonance very quickly destroys my mental health. How do you justify constantly doing things that you actively judge others for doing? Lack of self awareness? Alcoholism?
And itβs clear that itβs a power thing, and not just towards women. People see entire groups (women, children, immigrants, queer people) as genuinely less than human, and so can justify all sorts of treatment towards them. Itβs rampant!
Everything humans do is human nature. There are no monsters. Calling people monsters is just an excuse to point and stare and then sweep it right back under the rug.
I donβt believe billionaires should exist but while they do, make this family the first and only trillionaires
I feel the need to add to this list of tv shows we all should watch at least twice Murder, She Wrote and Call the Midwife
What, you ask, are we watching right now? ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALLπππππππ’
