I wouldn’t even mind buying it directly from my vet if they’d ship it to me.
It just seems like there should be an easier way. My vet won’t approve a request from Chewy so even though they know my cat is a senior with urinary issues, I need to bring him in screaming and terrified just to get them to give me a piece of paper to get his food.
My cats have been on Hills urinary health dry food for awhile and I’d love to switch it up but all the other options are prescription. I made the mistake of trying a cheaper brand and Ollie peed on a bunch of stuff so that’s a no from him.
Why do I need a prescription for cat food? C’mon now.

raised as a practicing catholic. when a good friend, who my mom knew well and loved, came out of the closet, she said he was going to hell even though he was a really good person. i basically said then well fuck your god he sucks.
i constantly lose track of what day it is these days and i feel bad for my boss and colleagues having to deal with it. the more i try to get my shit together, the more stressed i get, and the more i lose track of things.
and also we started moving all our websites into pre-built content management systems, so not a lot of people were building sites from the ground-up anymore. for me, personally, bootstrap (an html/css/javascript grid-based website-building suite) killed dreamweaver finally and forever.
i learned to build websites in notepad, so at the time dreamweaver WAS magical, but once css became a really robust styling method, it kind of made dreamweaver just an annoying and unnecessary extra piece of software in the mix. and most of us want edit via code and not visually, for troubleshooting
which, honestly, seems to be what teaching faculty are asking for, so i understand the pragmatic approach.
they're taking a software-centered approach, explaining concepts and then how you would enact them via the software at hand (outlook, brightspace, adobe, powerpoint, etc.)
i think it's a professor who teaches online, so they know brightspace really well, but they're using all the wysiwyg editors, so they don't seem to understand what's happening under the hood.
i mean god bless this lady for doing the work. it's not her fault we don't teach the children the lore.

in an alt text-writing webinar and it just occurred to me that people teaching online who don't know basic html are a hazard. why are you using an image for a table that could be very easily created and formatted with html/css? it's so much more accessible that way.
