I appreciate my plumber. But, he’s professionally trained to fix drains, not the immigration system.
Damn straight. I’m not shopping at Target until they do right.
Angus King isn’t a Dem. He’s an Independent.
Let’s say 10 Dems are absolutely awful. That’s still less than 5%, meaning that 95% of Dems are trying to do the right thing. I can only think of 1 Republican in Congress—Thomas Massie—who is even sort of trying. The two sides are not the same.
Cuellar is MAGA, but for some reason puts a “D” by his name. I don’t know Golden, Landsman, or Vargas. Fetterman has brain damage.
That’s five “D’s” out of 259 in Congress. That means about 2% of D’s are awful, as compared to 100% of R’s. The two sides are not the same.
Wild idea … what if we supported our troops by not sending them on unnecessary tours or to the gallows in a war of choice? Then there’s no need for a “morale meal,” and people don’t die for no legitimate reason.
There’s always enough money for war. 😔
Of course, troops need proper nutrition. As Napoleon famously noted, an army marches on its stomach.
But, should war be a gourmet experience? Seems legit to question whether we should reward those fighting an illegal war of choice with surf-n-turf, when people at home can’t afford rent and gas.
Wow. This is absolutely insane. Trump voters fucked us all over for decades.
I can’t believe we’re ten years into Trump, and people are still asking these questions. MAGA politicians (which are all that are left in the GOP) will never come to their senses. Trump may be the arsonist, but they fan the flames. If we don’t stop them, they will burn everything to the ground.
Never enough for butter, always enough for bombs.
Never enough for butter, but always enough for bombs.
Dem leadership (state and federal) needs to catch up with Dem voters.
When Talarico chooses to talk about “trans stuff” (because he controls the narrative, rather than being controlled), it is with love and support.
Israel tried to pressure Barack Obama to launch military strikes on Iran, according to former US secretary of state Antony Blinken, who said Israeli leaders warned they would attack themselves if U.S refused: "And we came within about 30 minutes of having a war."
There was an error. The error was withholding the documents in a way that people could figure out that the documents had been withheld. Even their corruption is incompetent.
He’s treating the World like the East Wing.
My wife and I were purchasing tickets to an attraction in the Netherlands last spring, and received a dry Dutch, “Congratulations on your new President.” After our reflexive, “Oh, God no,” he charged us half price.
Oklahoma is also 48th in teen pregnancy. Went back for a 20th high school reunion to find a surprising number of 38-yr-old grandparents.
🤦♂️
I would love to hear someone ask: “If this is only a ‘temporary’ issue, why would someone start drilling a new oil well that will take months to finish and years to pay off?”
Mmmm … correlation is not causation. Barriers to voting exist, but many people have successfully fought to provide ways around those barriers for those who make the effort. We can always do more to improve structures (or oppose new barriers), but folks also need to make voting a personal priority.
Who’s “we”? Unless Lindsey is planning to be first on the beach, he isn’t clearing out anything.
Sure. 😉
Sure. But, you can’t possibly WANT people to vote for a fraud who will disappoint them. That would be crazy. So, the only logical conclusion is that you want people to vote against Talarico or not to vote at all.
I guess next, Trump is going to end that 214 year war that Canada began in 1812 under James Madison.
So because Talarico, in your view, is a “fraud” who is “certain to disappoint,” folks should just vote for Cornyn/Paxton or not vote at all?
Do you think he is MORE problematic than Cornyn/Paxton?
Increased awareness is not an end to itself. Unhelpful.
