Shrubland which tapers to the edge of an old forest with thick undergrowth. Could be anything in there. I love ascii. Don't even see the tiles anymore.

The big Long Night update is finally out on steam! Lots of new stuff from procgen domestic animals to a completely overhauled tripartite "magic" system complete with type affinities for posthumans. I hope it is enjoyable.
I recommend reading the manga MAD. Its kind of like if Fire Punch was about xenomorphs, but I'm underselling it.

I would describe it as a mix of armored core and EDF, with the hammiest dialogue you have ever heard. Janky but I enjoyed it. Hoping the sequel improves on stuff like being to upgrade NPC units and make bigger battles a thing.

Still working. Magic system done, i's dotted, t's crossed, just the horrid slog of data entry now so everything is complete everywhere.
Valhalla knights and its sequel. Looking back I understand why it got mixed reviews but I liked it at the time. I have never heard anyone talk about it.

It wasn't really my intent for this to blow up so much but the way everything was interconnected makes just one huge update the best bet. I just gotta get it out there.
Finishing up the year with some good news; entering the final stretch of development for a big update I'm planning. It started out just implementing procgen animals but I've gone and developed a magic system so its just a matter of filling that out and getting the creatures to play nice with it.

Coming to the grim realization i can procedurally generate the ground to have statistically significant gameplay differences and so I have to do that now.
