Finally ditched the online versions of microsoft excel and google sheets and installed libreoffice

I was naive to think that all of the frustrations with autoformatting numbers as various types of data (like dates) would not carry over. I assumed it was just corporate stupidity 🙃

I guess maybe the distinction I'm trying to make is I'll buy a flawed game because it's fun, but not a game themed around a franchise *cough* pokemon *cough* I love if it's not fun

After thinking about it, I feel like we might be talking about different magnitudes of issues. I don't mind the games having small flaws or being a bit grindy sometimes.

Additionally, constrictive criticism is good, but most people who play games (including myself in this) make horrible decisions and suggestions about game design. The worst thing a dev can do is listen to general community input, as opposed to input from select trusted testers

For me, if I'm not able to change it (cause it's a published game, not my project), and I want to enjoy it, I intentionally ignore the flaws. Because I want to have fun, not stress about imperfections

Ignorance is bliss, and also ignorance is a choice. I choose to ignore the bad for my own sake
