Training session with 4 sets of 205 lb deadlifts instead of 3, with 6 reps for my top set. Deadlift volume was 5,980 lbs. Other exercises included single-leg RDL's & weighted jump squats. Listened to Ne Obliviscaris & Slayer before session. Deadlift max goal is now 315. #FitnessSky #GymSky π€

I would have gotten mad about a year ago, but I have more confidence now. Imagine if she said that to someone still battling an eating disorder though. I'm so fucking glad I'm in recovery from mine, so what she said didn't ruin my day and sent me spiraling into self destruction.

Went to the Mexican place next to the gym, some woman customer said "there goes all your gym work". I just smiled and said I was bulking. Fuck diet culture and depriving myself of my favorite foods.

PR 270 lbs Standing Calf Raise (Machine) Heaviest Weight Lifted
I'm still more impressed by my squats, I've come a long way on those. My calves have always been naturally big and strong.
Volume was 29,256 lbs, 5 records but Iβm starting to care less about the volume and more about increasing my big lifts and quality over quantity. I also have much more energy with the shorter workouts and I think Iβll have better gains with better muscle recovery.

Chest day done with personal trainer, workout took about an hour. Got a barbell flat bench PR of 4x115 lbs, not only that but they were PAUSED reps!!! Fixed my form on chest flies, & did some plyo push-ups which were fucking brutal. Listened to Behemoth before session #FitnessSky #GymSky π€
