โHonda pulled out at the end of 2021 ... then re-entered the sport at the end of 2022, so roughly a year and a bit, out of competition. When they reformed, a lot of the original group had disbanded ... so a lot of the group that reformed are fresh to F1."

This was my office today. I've recorded a video demo of the new Mercedes-Benz GLC's Hyperscreen so check that out when the review embargo lifts on the 23rd. At thetimes.com, of course.

Don't panic buy petrol and diesel, says the AA. So what are people doing right now, do you think?
Let me know know if you see big queues at the pumps.
Glad I didnt mention the aquarium mode.
Dreadful.

The Bahrain GP is on 12 April. Just saying.
Definitely a talking point. I remember after the UK launch of the original Nissan Leaf I realised EVs might encourage people to drive more efficiently in general. It certainly concentrates the mind on fuel use.
Fine, then I shan't like yours, either. ๐
If real, this seems like a smart solution. But trying to get it past the safety regulations in the UK wouldn't be simple.
Just incredible.
People say this chap will win all kinds of awards for his photo of Andrew. How about the Noble prize?
Thanks, I'm here all week.

I'm now imagining an Allegro walk. The opposite of a strut, perhaps.
Absolute bobbins. I use Heathrow A LOT and it's a free-for-all, whichever terminal you're in.
Wondering if this was meant as a joke.

Rave review of Mundo Pixar from my 10yo son. He thought it was brilliant. 11yo daughter enjoyed it a lot, too.
But then again, the boy was also so impressed with Wembley that he thinks we should move into one of the flats by the stadium, so...

Pressure on Honda.
HUGE number of laps by Verstappen.
My goodness but we need some good news these days & hereโs something you mightโve missedโฆ
Itโs amazing to think the number of people who have come out in motor sport, let alone F1, is still tinyโฆ(1)

Seeing Audi and Cadillac logos in there is mad... even though I knew they were competing this year.
Good to see a new local boy in the mix, too, in the Racing Bull.
Early days but the Aston in Stroll's hands in five seconds behind. Haven't been following closely but what do we read into that? #F1
Front of the 520d now shod with Bridgestone Potenza Sport Evos. Rear Turanzas are relatively new so didnt feel the need to replace, but the fronts were much more worn and I noticed a vibration at speed. Hoping these sort that and give a bit more front end confidence. Just need to dodge the potholes!
David Bowie on the fragmentation of society and the Internet. He was a very smart guy.
From Adam Curtis's docuseries Shifty, on BBC iPlayer. I absolutely love Curtis's stuff -- dreamlike yet cerebral.
OMG, I've just seen for the first time a following drone shot of downhill skiing at the Winger Olympics and... holy sh*t. It always looked impressive by my god, that really shows the speed! Huge respect to those guys.
Encountered this car sales scam yourself? It seems that many people have.
I put an advert for my car on Autotrader and within minutes relieved a call from a buyer who wanted to see it ASAP. He had just one request...
