Finally read Red Rising by Pierce Brown. Very Hunger Games. Noticeably a debut novel - uneven, with good parts followed by clunky moments, wincingly bad dialogue at times and convenient plot points. Some surprises along the way.
Am told these get better. Will continue with the series at some point.
