For me, the poor economics of current LLM tools is a reason to hold off on using them. When the bubble bursts, the current tools will be too expensive for most businesses. Eventually someone will develop and sell economic but less capable tools. Using them will not be like the current tools.
Also, if the measure of operational success is “is it safe to navigate the Strait of Hormuz” you’ve lost the war the second the first bombs dropped because it was safe prewar to navigate the Strait.

Let me get this straight, you can't run Windows 10 anymore but Windows 11 won't work on computers past a certain age because of all the a.i stuff. So you have to upgrade to a new computer in order to run Windows 11 but because of the a.i. they are no longer selling RAM or hard drives to end users.
