It's only fucking Tuesday and I need fewer things to happen this week. Too many things have happened and I don't want to deal with it
in case you've never seen it, this is Roger Ebert on The Mummy
When Unity started collapsing I made a quick "how do I get going in Unreal" website many folks found helpful. that website has now MOVED and is a DIFFERENT COLOUR. If you want Unreal demystification, tips and scoops, this is a place

Itβs the meme!
I remember reading a thread of someone debugging some core Linux utility failing to work, and (eventually) discovering that the application on disk was one bit different to the one in memory. They concluded that the in memory one has been bit flipped by a cosmic ray.
You can't handle everything!
I miss random cards having completely different art styles, sometimes wildly different tones.
There are definitely unique cards in new sets, but it feels like they have a much tighter rein on art direction in a way that really prevents some of the classic feel from being possible!
I built a procedural medieval island map generator using Wave Function Collapse on hex grids. 4,100 cells, 900 possible states per cell, 60fps on mobile. Wrote up the whole process with lessons learned. Links below π #threejs #webgpu
Final screen of Moss moss, showing a full completion time of 21:18. Text reads "Fully Mossed! you really mossed it all thank you for playing Game by Noel Cody"
This game was great! lovely little platformer explorer, it feels like a metroidvania except there's no items or monsters

βInternational Womenβs Dayβ ending up on the only 23 hour day of the year.
hmm I followed the instructions Iβm not sure why he looks so different
Ah, I didn't realise it was so limited. I saw 'game share with switch 1' and thought that would be full featured. That's a shame!
If you are fully crazy into animal crossing and pokemon or pokemon and Minecraft or something... Maybe?
Switch 2 exclusives definitely aren't enough to buy a system for unless you've money to burn, I guess
I got sold on it when someone said it was made by the dragon quest builders studio. It definitely feels like dqb but pokemon
In order of preference: 1, 2, 4, 7, 5. No idea about 6, but 3 can get in the bin.
My actual favourite is a bic 4 colour pen where one of the colours is a mechanical pencil.
Otherwise I'd rather write in a chisel tip than a ball point!
There was a taming of the shrew made for BBC maybe 20 years ago that was great, starring Shirley Henderson and Rufus Sewell which I remember being very good
Silo is an incredible book, and an incredible show. They changed a lot, but did so in ways that improve it (both for the screen, and as a whole imho)
Isekai pokopia
I don't have this power, stop asking
Typo first time around inverted the meaning π«©
I am wearing my least favourite t shirt today
I have been complimented on it three times so far
Hobgoblin Beer advert altered with PS1/N64/Saturn logos to say "What's The Matter Realistic Graphics Boy Afraid you Might Taste Something?" Low Poly Games Embrace The Jank
It's a banger, and only gets better with the sequel!
They added Red to PokΓ©mon Masters and his design and shading is like the classic Sugimori watercolor art brought to life, Iβd kill for a whole game to use this style.
You love to see it
... Started doing yoga this week, actually.
Probably long overdue based on the noises I make standing up from the floor
Wait, that's bottom of the graveyard, that's terrible. Never mind
Phyrexian Furnace {1} Artifact {T}: Exile the bottom card of target playerβs graveyard. {1}, Sacrifice this artifact: Exile target card from a graveyard. Draw a card.
One with that exact effect
Watermelon wishes it was mango.
I'd rather have a cucumber than a melon of any kind in almost any situation
