One of our rural VA clinics has been short a physician for 3 years, but they finally had a candidate who was slated to start in the next few weeks. Now the offer has been rescinded due to the hiring freeze. #ThanksTrump for worsening rural healthcare access for veterans.

A colorful orange sunset reflects in the partially frozen surface of the Mississippi River with tall arches of a bridge over the river in the background. Steam from a powerplant rises in the distance as well.
A little bike ride sunset view palate cleanse. Cars streamed by next to me, none of them able to take a moment and soak up this view. I passed several other cyclists after this sitting and doing the same thing - taking in the peace and calm of a beautiful sunset.
