Seems bad
What a farce.
This is happening. And we need your help now more than ever to document DOJ's misbehavior.
Check out our website at glowlaw.org, and help us by volunteering your time or money.
BREAKING NYT:
Lindsey Halligan, the ex-U.S. attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia who brought criminal cases against Trump's enemies over the objections of career prosecutors, is under investigation by Florida's bar association, according to a letter the organization sent last month.
Daniel Rosen's profile is still not live, but we're working on it!
Well, well, well, if it isn't the consequences of my own actions...
If anyone happens to know "Counsel", let us know!
7/7 Also, as the court noted, this was not the only time Ishahra failed to follow a court order under similar circumstances.
You can read all about this unfathomable chain of misconduct in the Court's decision from 2/20:
6/7 Also contrary to the court's order, the petitioner was released without his identification documents. Petitioner's counsel contacted Isihara to inquire about how the petitioner could get his documents back. Isihara never responded, nor did he take any action to look into the matter.
5/7 βI have a few urgent matters I need to close the loop on. Iβll circle back with you later this afternoon.β
He never followed circled back.
4/7 contrary to the court's 2/9 order to release the petitioner in MN, the petitioner was eventually released in TX. The petitioner's counsel emailed Isihara and asked him to help to transfer the petitioner to MN. Isihara responded in an e-mail...
3/7 As a result, the Court granted the petition on 2/9, ordering the petitioner's release. Isihara did not notify ICE of the decision to release the petitioner, and did not take any steps to make sure the government complied with the order.
2/7 SAUSA Isihara was assigned the case on 2/2. As the assigned attorney, he was responsible for preparing and filing the government's response to the petition by 2/5 court imposed deadline. He did not. He never filed a response.
1/7 We're pretty sure most of our followers are aware of the fact that SAUSA Matt Isihiara was found in civil contempt for failing to follow court orders. But we doubt most are aware how very badly he failed at following court orders.
A π§΅:

Worth mentioning, we believe, that Blanche here both misrepresents what the law is, and behaves in a way that is extremely disrespectful and undermines the integrity of the legal profession.
We were proud to see @lawrenceodonnell.bsky.social read from LDAD volunteer Jamie Steyer's article from the @nydailynews.com. Thank you for making sure the American people hear this message. #RuleofLaw
