Freelancing is great because sometimes people will jump through hoops just to give you work and other times people will send you a beautifully crafted sorry-but-no-thanks message with someone else’s name still pasted in. 😂
Day two of being problematically sick and I’ve got stuff to do so full-on chemical warfare it is. Pro tip: the store brand cold medicine in an ugly box that costs a fraction of the pretty stuff has the exact same ingredients. Save your money.

I'm updating my website and I've settled on this bullet point as an important new addition. GenAI isn't only problematic when it affects me personally, and I'd like the people I work with to know I recognize that.
TikTok’s terms of service spell out very clearly that they use all of your material to train AI, and based on the language it sounds like there’s no opting out. I didn’t see the same language in Instagram’s TOS, but I’m decidedly not an expert. Anyone know of Meta is scraping everything, too?
