I'm also a little annoyed because from day 3 I have been asking about her eyes but told "it's normal"...I should have really pushed harder about it - lesson learned I suppose
It makes me so sad as a parent that children don't have the comparison to recognize when they're experience "abnormal" eye sight and don't know to explain that. I wish we did some additional monitoring when they are younger.

This morning kiddo yelled for me: “MOM! IM NOT SEEING DOUBLE!!!”
It was only for things up close (within about 2 feet) but WOW! HUGE PROGRESS! 🔥🔥🔥
We started eye therapy (once a week we go see an eye therapist and we do at-home exercises everyday, even took them with us on our safari in Africa!)
It’s like physical therapy, for eyes
It’s AMAZING what the exercises are and how our bodies, minds, and eyes are connected in ways I never expected.
I learned, much later than I wish I did, that kiddo has been seeing double her whole(?) life.
Didn’t know she needed glasses until she was 4. Didn’t discover this double vision until she was 7.
I can’t imagine what a hard decision this was, but I’m proud of you for identifying how your life has changed and giving yourself permission to make new choices ❤️

I have a specific pair of slippers that just fits so nicely and is perfect in terms of comfiness and durability. Working from home I wear them the majority of the day (we don't wear shoes in the house).
Every year I buy 2-3 pairs just so I always have a pair when one wears out.

Turns out the motor on my well pump was just done. It was 22 years old, so probably about time to be replaced.
Got a new well pump and my filter changed! I can shower again 🎉
