I bought it physical and everything but ooof that game was about as average as I can think of is all. Each level so obviously made at different times with different teams, almost no cohesion. You like it more than any Zelda or any Capcom game?

The internet has deluded themselves into thinking Bloodborne runs like ass.
Like, mention frame pacing to me and Im out. Nobody knows what that is. Thinking a game needs a remake just to fix that is peak nerd entitlement. The Digital Foundry style discourse is such an annoying trend.
Want a perfect example of this? The MGS2 reveal. The setting, the mechanics, the artistry, the ambition. It all had everyone going HOLY SHIT WEVE NEVER SEEN THIS BEFORE WE KUST KNOW MORE. Bloodborne did too, Elden Ring kind of and of course BotW.
Up through the PS2 days, AAA studios kept pumping ideas with great production values. The decline really started being felt in the PS3 era
We still get Persona 5, NieR Automata, BotW etc on occasion, sure, but its so few and far between
Generally Im finding games less captivating than I did, probably due to playing them for 37+ years and the state of the industry
The cool ideas are made by teams without the budget to flesh them out, the budgets are spent on the same old tired games that take zero risks.
