Built an APEX “2nd brain” (APEX + PL/SQL + LLM + automations). It worked… until I kept asking Codex for “one more feature” and fell into the vibe-coding 🐇 🕳️

Oracle APEX Social Sign-In logout often needs a Post-Logout URL to a public page. Since the URL changes across DEV/TEST/PROD, and APEX doesn’t allow runtime substitutions there, it usually becomes a manual deployment step.

Good point, they still have a way to go in terms of feature parity. I don’t think data modeler has moved over to the VS code version, just the ability to diagram a schema. I don’t use a data modeler tool so it was not a loss for me.

Great post. You have me thinking. I too am concerned about Hashnode. Luckily, it’s markdown, I have my own domain and posts are backed up to GitHub automatically. 🤞that they give me enough time to migrate if they do stop the service. They seem to be purely focused on their documentation product now.
