@levparikian.bsky.social wow, someone wrote in to say theyβd seen a Swallow at Stanley Reservoir in Paisley (about 2 mins in) #ScotlandOutdoors Just amazing!
I just keep coming back around to, "there is a reason that no previous president did this foolish thing and it was not because they were weak, woke cowards, but because they could read a cost-benefit analysis."
Me yesterday when I realised not only did I not have my π + bank cards but I also didnβt know when Iβd last seen it and last time I remembered having it was on 1.3 when I had paid cash in a taxi π¬. Donβt really want to relive those 8 hours, thank you π
This contender for Gloucestershire's Fattest Caterpillar was happily absorbing winter honeysuckle! Can you identify it, please? I know fellow-caterpillars are still under cover in parts of my garden, which I daren't yet disturb...Very best wishes!
Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump tweet that reads βThe United States has spent EIGHT TRILLION DOLLARS fighting and policing in the Middle East. Thousands of our Great Soldiers have died or been badly wounded. Millions of people have died on the other side. GOING INTO THE MIDDLE EAST IS THE WORST DECISION EVER MADE....β 7:14 AM Β· Oct 9, 2019

broadly speaking Iran aligned extremism experts have either been reassigned to work on ethnic cleansing or fired for being involved in the Jan 6 prosecutions
Absolutely this. I made this programme 6 years ago to make the case that green policies are as much about national as international interests now. The right still hasn't woken up to this. Vulnerability to dependence on oil is one more strand of the wider argument.

To be fair, if you were a swan and could do this, why wouldnβt you?

The Iranian regime sure had a busy few weeks planned. As I understand it, from reliable sources such as Mr Trump, next week they were going to attack the US; the week after they were getting a bomb; within the month they were taking over the Middle East.
Their Gantt chart work must be incredible.
I was talking to an elderly relative about the lovely cinnamon and clove diffuser I had, thinking sheβd like one. Her comment was that it reminded her of dentist visits as a child when they used clove extract as pain relief so she definitely wouldnβt be wanting one!
The view out the back of the library. It is cloudy but between the clouds the sky is blue and it is light.
Incredible scenes here. Somehow it's March and somehow it's 5pm and SOMEHOW we're already on EPISODE NINE of 'How light is it in #Orkney at 5pm this week?'
It's cloudy but we are striding headlong into glorious longer days
And it is THIS LIGHT! π‘
This is really funππππ
Shrewsbury
Blossom and snow at Old St Chadβs churchyard, Shrewsbury - photographed three years ago today. In the distance are the spires of St Alkmundβs and St Maryβs, almost disappearing behind a curtain of white. I took many pictures as I wandered around town that day, but this was my favourite. #Shropshire
Shrewsbury is so photogenic

A large circular metal desk viewed from above, raised above the muddy ground. On it is written: Great Western Railway Cos, Boundary 1911.
The ground was too hard to move it at the time, but now the bank is soft they were able to raise it up and discovered a Great Western Railway boundary marker dating back to 1911! (2/2)

I get asked a lot what I'm giving up for Lent, and this year the answer is nothing. this is what I'm doing instead, and I'll tell you why, and you're invited to join in with me however it fits into your own spiritual or contemplative practices.

anybody?
And make sure youβre nice/supportive/good to your team so that if were ever to happen, at least one person cares enough to tell you?
How does this work when you are literally fighting a war in lockstep with Israel which is very much not a Christian state? And have invaded Ecuador which is a βChristianβ country?
I was sitting by our pond yesterday, and heard a faint repeating sound/call which I donβt recognise. Please can anyone tell me what it might be? It could of course be made by a human, but I felt it more likely to be a creature of some sort. Very faint, so volume up! Thank you π
