Green Man Gaming's Better Together Bundle Is A Heavily Discounted Ode To Couch Co-Op Co-op games hold a special place in my heart, they’re some of the most fun, collaborative, and memorable games on the market but they’re sadly few and far between. Thankfully, Green Man Gaming has a new bundle of six co-op-focused PC games like Cat Quest II, Moving Out 2, and more. You can pick up the Better Together Bundle for just $12, which saves you a whooping 90% off the $125 the combined suggested retail prices if you bought the games separately. See at GMG Included in the bundle is Moving Out 2, the sequel to the chaotic couch co-op classic. It’s a lot more fun than helping your friends move, and comes with considerably less back pain. The game is physics-based, and you work with your teammates to navigate obstacles without breaking anything (yourselves included).Continue Reading at GameSpot

Data Reconstruction Quest Guide In Marathon The initial contracts you receive in Marathon are mostly fetch quests that don't require a ton of effort on your part. These contracts are either for CyberAcme, or they're the Liaison Contracts for new factions that you can join once you complete the "Welcome to Tau Ceti" contracts. However, after you've dipped your toes in some of the new factions, you'll start to get more challenging contracts. One of these contracts is called Data Reconstruction, and it's required to progress the NuCaloric faction in Marathon. While Data Reconstruction sounds simple enough on paper, it's not as easy as you might think. There are three separate objectives, and you'll need to visit specific locations on a couple of maps. If you're struggling with Data Reconstruction or want to get it done quickly in Marathon, take a look at the full contract walkthrough below. All objectives in Data Reconstruction Data Reconstruction is divided into three separate parts, each featuring its own objectivesrt45. The first part of the contract takes place entirely on the Perimeter map and has three different steps.Continue Reading at GameSpot

Steam Machine's 2026 Release Doesn't Sound Very Certain Anymore In early February, Valve confirmed that Steam Machine's launch was pushed out of its early 2026 release window due to the ongoing RAM shortages. At the time, Valve expressed confidence that a 2026 release was still on the table. But the latest word from Valve seems a little less confident that it's going to drop this year. Valve has shared it's Year In Review 2025 report, and addressed the arrival of Steam Machine, the new Steam Controller, and Steam Frame with the following statement: "We hope to ship in 2026, but as we shared recently, memory and storage shortages have created challenges for us. We'll share updates publicly when we finalize our plans!"Continue Reading at GameSpot

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 Will Take To The Skies, Visit Wutai Square Enix has yet to unveil Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3, which will conclude the remake trilogy that began in 2020 with Final Fantasy 7 Remake. However, director Naoki Hamaguchi has shared some specifics about which locations will be featured in the finale, including at least one that wasn't in the last game. While speaking with Bloomberg, Hamaguchi strongly hinted that Rocket Town will be in FF7 Remake Part 3 after being excluded in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. With Rocket Town on the way, Hamaguchi broadly teased that a trip to space will also be in the cards. He also went on to stress the importance of including Yuffie's homeland. "[Wutai is] one of the main locations," said Hamaguchi. "Yuffie's made a very prominent appearance, stating her case about her homeland. So if Wutai's not featured, I think the fans are going to yell at me."Continue Reading at GameSpot

Pokemon Pokopia - How To Restore Electricity And Complete Bleak Beach Pokemon Pokopia is all about building habitats and discovering new Pokemon. After completing the starting area called Withered Wastelands, you'll be able to advance through a gate and explore Bleak Beach. In this guide, we'll walk you through all the objectives for Bleak Beach, which asks you to "Brighten Things Up" and restore the lighting around the beach and rebuild the Pokemon Center. Here are all the steps you need to know to complete the "Brighten Things Up" questline in Pokemon Pokopia. * Help Professor Tangrowth by building a bridge to the Pokemon Center. * Use blocks around the fountain to block water flow and stop flooding. * Finish the questline to improve Meowth's home: * Requires Torchic and Piplup * Fix other flooded areas. * Build more habitats and attract new Pokemon: * Mareep * Trubbish * Pawmi * Makuhita * Gloom * Speak with Professor Tangrowth, and you'll be instructed to build a home. I'd recommend choosing the Sand Den because the materials are readily available. * Complete Trubbish's electricity tutorial request. * Restore lighting using an electric Pokemon such as Pawmi to power up street lamps. * Continue restoring power to the beach. This will help you reach your current goal and some later steps as well. * Return water to the watermill and add missing power poles to the tower above it. * Replace power poles at the windmill. * Connect the electric oven to the right of the windmill and add fuel. Lumber works well here. You can usually tell which blocks need a power pole. There is a darker circle at the center where the original pole once was, as shown in the image above. You don't have to place the poles here, but it will be the easiest placement and avoid objects blocking the wires. It also ensures you have them placed at the right distance to provide connection.Continue Reading at GameSpot

How To Increase Your Backpack Inventory Size In Marathon When you're playing an extraction shooter, your inventory is one of the most important elements that you need to manage. The main goal of most drops is to acquire as much loot as possible, and if you have a small inventory, then you can't take a ton of loot with you when you go to extract from the map. The same is true in Marathon, and the default backpack you're given to start the game doesn't hold an overwhelming number of inventory slots. So, sooner rather than later, you're going to want to increase the overall size of your backpack's inventory. However, that's easier said than done in Marathon, as it all comes down to good, old RNG. Below, we'll walk you through how to upgrade your backpack and increase your inventory capacity in Marathon. How to increase inventory slots in Marathon While it might sound a little counterintuitive, the only way to increase your inventory size in Marathon is to equip a backpack. By default, your loadout comes with a standard backpack that's able to hold eight inventory slots. This default backpack is equipped on your loadout at all times, even if you die, so you'll always have at least eight slots in your inventory. Continue Reading at GameSpot

Fortnite Adding A GTA-Style Game, And It's Not Shy About Its Inspiration Grand Theft Auto 6 doesn't arrive until this November, but Jogo Games has announced a GTA-like game that you can play very soon in Fortnite. The game is obviously riffing on GTA 6, as evidenced by the key art showing two characters sitting on a car like the official GTA 6 art depicting Jason and Lucia. Grand Heist City, as it's called, launches on March 14. Andre "Typical Gamer" Rebelo's Jogo Games developed the game with the Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN). He told Variety that Grand Heist City is his "most ambitious" game so far, featuring what he says is the "chaotic energy" of GTA. The game will allow players to explore an open map and do whatever they want, while they can also take on missions and heists. There is multiplayer support as well. Grand Heist City was funded in part by an Epic Mega Grant. The cinematic announcement trailer (see below) is full of GTA-inspired action, including car chases and explosions. We haven't seen any actual gameplay yet, however.Continue Reading at GameSpot

Nintendo Is Suing The US Government Over Illegal Tariffs Last month, the United States Supreme Court declared President Trump's tariffs levied under the IEEPA to be illegal. By that point, billions of dollars in now-illegal tariffs had already been collected, leaving the question open as to what will happen to those funds. Several companies have already sued the US government to recoup their tariff costs, and now Nintendo is joining them, as reported by Aftermath. In the court filing, Nintendo requests a full tariff refund in no uncertain terms. "Plaintiff requests that, consistent with the Supreme Court’s ruling in Learning Resources and the Federal Circuit’s and this Court’s rulings in V.O.S. Selections, this Court order the prompt refund, with interest, of any IEEPA duties paid by Plaintiff regardless of liquidation status, and provide any and all remedies that the Court deems appropriate," states the document. The lawsuit is being filed in the United States Court of International Trade and names numerous government figures and agencies as defendants. The full list is as follows: The US Department of Homeland Security and recently fired Secretary Kirsti Noem; the Office of the United States Trade Representative and its US trade representative Jamieson Greer; the US Customs and Border Protection and protection commissioner Rodney Scott; and finally, the US Department of Commerce and the secretary of commerce, Howard Lutnick.Continue Reading at GameSpot

WoW Housing Decor Bundles Are Giving Players Sticker Shock World of Warcraft's new Midnight expansion is in full swing along with its long-awaited player-housing system, and it didn't take long for Blizzard to begin selling some pricey microtransactions related to the feature. It was just a few weeks ago that the only decor available for purchase using WoW's new Hearthsteel premium currency were two plushies for 100 Hearthsteel (or roughly $1) each. Flash forward to now, and there's a number of new decor items available on the shop, including two $25 item bundles that have raised some eyebrows. The new decor items even got their own trailer. The limited-time bundles available until April 23 include a variety of spring-themed and garden-decor items, all of which can also be purchased separately. Some of those items, like the Spring Blossom Tree, are giving players some serious sticker shock.Continue Reading at GameSpot

Xbox Project Helix Could Be $900 Or Higher, Says Analyst Earlier this week, Microsoft announced its next Xbox, which is codenamed Project Helix. Aside from its ability to play Xbox and PC games, there haven't been many details released about it. But according to analyst and Kantan Games founder Dr. Serkan Toto, the price for Project Helix could be $900 or even higher. "The PS5 Pro is $750 in the US, while the Xbox Series X with 2TB is [$800]," Toto told GamesRadar. "There is absolutely no reason to expect Project Helix to be cheaper, so a base model could be priced at $900 and a more premium version at even more than that." Toto believes that the RAM crisis could be over by the time Project Helix is put into production, but he added that "fans should brace for an expensive machine in any case."Continue Reading at GameSpot

Resident Evil Requiem’s Star Wars-Level Pandering Drags the Whole Game Down Nestled in a cabinet deep inside Resident Evil Requiem’s ruined Raccoon City Police Department lies an off-brand console, approximating the original PlayStation or Sega Saturn. Studious players can find this knockoff system surrounded by all manner of Capcom games from the era, like Mega Man 8 and Street Fighter 2 Alpha. Capcom games often reference each other--look at any Dead Rising--but Requiem goes one step further by stashing a copy of the original Resident Evil inside this electronics-filled coffin. This small inclusion turns a silly Easter egg into an immersion-breaking one and acts as a fitting microcosm for Requiem’s bigger problem: it's distractingly obsessed with its past. The hyperfixation on nostalgia is pernicious, though, and doesn’t fully take hold until the latter half of the game. The links up until then are somewhat tenuous, but still present. Requiem's new character, Grace Ashcroft, isn’t allowed to be completely new--she has to have a connection to an old game, as the daughter of Resident Evil Outbreak’s Alyssa Ashcroft. Its beginning mostly introduces new threads and faces, but Grace isn’t even allowed to carry the game by herself--the way her predecessor, Ethan Winters, does--as she’s joined by series pretty boy Leon S. Kennedy. Resident Evil games usually have multiple playable characters and those often, at least partially, pull from a recognizable roster. Leon's inclusion isn't automatically a red flag. But once the story starts unfolding, it’s hard not to see Leon’s inclusion as a lack of confidence in Grace’s ability to carry the game, and a semi-cowardly way to appeal to fans. A charitable read is difficult to sustain, since this wave of callbacks kicks into overdrive once players don the zombie ass-kicker’s curtain haircut in Requiem's latter half. Leon is the conduit to nostalgia in this portion of the game.Continue Reading at GameSpot

Cyberpunk 2077 Isn't Done With Fortnite Yet Fortnite's collaboration with Cyberpunk 2077 is getting a new wave of cosmetics--or at least that's what the Epic Games Store seems to be teasing with a cryptic five-second video it posted on Twitter Friday morning. Good morning, Night City! We've got a surprise for you... pic.twitter.com/L40iI56Amx β€” Epic Games Store (@EpicGames) March 6, 2026 Not a lot of clues in there, but it could be that the Cyberpunk 2077 account is hinting at something specific in its quote tweet, which promised "New Cyberpunk 2077 locker content smashing into @Fortnite soon!" Could this refer to the beefy baddie Adam Smasher? Fortnite x Cyberpunk 2077 currently consists of skins for Johnny Silverhand, female-presenting V, and the Quadra Turbo-R car, along with a pile of accessories like Johnny's guitar. There are any number of other character or car skins that Fortnite could add--there are plenty of Cyberpunk cars that are way cooler than the Turbo-R, and the cast of the game is enormous.Continue Reading at GameSpot

Remember The Not-Kojima Vaporware Abandoned? It Just Might Be Back Don't call it a comeback just yet, but it appears that developer Blue Box Game Studios' PS5-exclusive, first-person horror shooter Abandoned may not have been abandoned after all, according to a post on ResetEra. Sleuths on the gaming forum ResetEra discovered on March 5 that Blue Box Game Studios' director, Hasan Kahraman, has a new game connected to his PlayStation account. The game is titled Abandoned: Gospels of Blood, suggesting that Kahraman may be attempting to resurrect a version of the once-maligned PS5 project. That's it, though. There's no trailer, no demo, no release date--nothing at all. So, to understand the significance of this insignificant update, we have to go back to 2021. A Trip Down (Abandoned) Memory Lane Back in April 2021, developer Hasan Kahraman and his team at Blue Box Game Studios pulled back the curtain on Abandoned. Revealing it on the PlayStation Blog, the game was described as a "cinematic, first-person horror survival-shooter" with photorealistic graphics and a highly detailed, open-world environment. It looked creepy yet stunning, but it also kind of resembled a Silent Hill game. Or, at least, that was the theory after the project was unveiled, with netizens linking Abandoned to the iconic survival-horror series and assuming Kahraman was a stand-in for gaming auteur Hideo Kojima. (The two do share similar initials, after all, though Kojima has since denied being involved with Abandoned in any capacity.)Continue Reading at GameSpot

Slay The Spire 2's Next-Level Co-Op Makes It An Early GOTY Contender The recent announcement that Slay the Spire 2 would include four-player co-op support came as quite a surprise to me. This style of roguelike deckbuilder is not known for multiplayer, and with few details shared about it and its reveal seemingly not being positioned as a big deal, I really didn't know what to expect. In spending several hours across a few runs, however, it's clear that co-op is the selling point for Slay the Spire 2, and a fantastic example of how small details can really make a difference. Co-op in Slay the Spire allows 2-4 players to take on the game's typical roguelike runs. If you jump straight into it with other players before taking on any solo content, the mechanics are a bit confusing: You're all playing the same character, with the same basic deck, the same relics available to you, and so on. Are we sharing a deck? Are potions or gold shared? It takes a little time to figure out that, while you're all simultaneously participating in the same combat and events, the choices you make and everything you gain belongs to each player individually. The only thing shared, really, is that you're following the same path across the map and benefiting (or being hurt by) the same buffs and debuffs on the enemies you're facing.Continue Reading at GameSpot

Marathon Credits Artist Who Claimed Bungie Stole Their Art The artist who alleged that Bungie used their work without permission for Marathon and later settled the matter with the developer is featured in the newly launched game's credits. The name of the artist, Fern Hook AKA Antireal, can be seen in the game's credits, listed as a Visual Design Consultant, according to the game's credits posted on Reddit. In May 2025, Antireal alleged that the Marathon alpha featured assets lifted from their own designs that were published in 2017. At the time, the artist said they didn't have the resources or the energy to pursue a legal case against Bungie. In response, Bungie said it "immediately investigated" the matter, going on to pin the blame on a former Bungie artist.Continue Reading at GameSpot

A Big Shift For PlayStation Could Be Bad News For One Of Its Best Studios In the same year that Sony launched the PlayStation 5, the console maker also began moving away from keeping its exclusive games on its own hardware. Horizon Zero Dawn, which had launched on the PlayStation 4 just three years prior, became the first big Sony-published game to launch on the PC, marking a shift in strategy as Sony attempted to find a larger audience in the same way that Microsoft had been doing for some time. It's a bet that led to one of Sony's most-notable acquisitions just a year later, with the company purchasing renowned porting studio Nixxes to support its PC efforts going forward. But just five years later, Sony is reportedly taking a step back from this strategy, which leaves one of the best studios in the industry in a precarious position. Prior to its acquisition, Nixxes made a name for itself by supporting Square Enix-published titles, primarily working with studios such as Eidos Montreal and Crystal Dynamics. Nixxes, which has been doing porting work since its founding in 2000, was behind the exceptionally well-optimized and feature-rich ports of Rise of the Tomb Raider, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and more. It had, in fact, been doing a lot of this work for a long time, but it was around this time that the studio gained a more well-known reputation for creating exceptional PC ports, something which you couldn't take for granted then like you generally can today. It's this reputation that likely attracted Sony, which initially tasked Nixxes with assisting Guerrilla Games on patching Horizon Zero Dawn shortly after it launched on PC. It was a disappointing launch, with various performance issues and bugs showing how Guerrilla, and perhaps Sony by extension, underestimated the complexity of a port. Nixxes not only helped stabilize it, but clearly showcased how skilled it was at this exact type of work, which more than likely made it an easy choice for Sony to purchase it a year later.Continue Reading at GameSpot

Steam Game Briefly Replaced By A Completely Different, Unannounced Project Someone at Teyon apparently made a very big mistake today, as Steam players who purchased RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business found their game completely erased and replaced by a different title that wasn't formally announced. A user on X who goes by Silent was the first to notice that Unfinished Business was swapped out for Hunter: The Reckoning, a project that appears to be based on a spin-off from the World of Darkness tabletop RPGs. Title screen says Hunter: The Reckoning, but the actual games under that title are by another developer and are 2D text based, unlike whatever this is. Doesn't look very hunter-like either so I doubt this is their Hunting Simulator 3. (Screenshots by @jas0n_098) pic.twitter.com/sikon1Mfvc β€” Edness (@EdnessTweets) March 6, 2026 As noted in a later post from Edness, the build in question is dated May 20, 2025, and it appears to be very early in its development and far from finished. The Hunter: The Reckoning files were subsequently pulled from Steam and replaced with the originally intended update for Unfinished Business. It's unknown if Hunter: The Reckoning progressed beyond this build or if it will ever come out. There were three Hunter: The Reckoning video games released between 2002-2003, but none since.Continue Reading at GameSpot

"A new patch is out now for Resident Evil Requiem, including fixes for some known issues," the publisher shared in a recent post on X. "We've also heard your feedback and are working on adding support for the DualSense wireless controller adaptive trigger and vibration functions for the PC version of the game. This will take some time, but we appreciate your patience." There's no telling exactly how much time it will take for Capcom to improve the DualSense experience on PC. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie arrives in theaters on April 1, featuring Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, and Jack Black returning to their respective voices, while Oscar-winner Brie Larson joins up as the serene Rosalina along with Benny Safdie as Bowser Jr. Another one of Mario's archnemesis was speculated to make an appearance after an accidental leak, but is still unconfirmed as of now.Continue Reading at GameSpot

Arc Raiders Was Recording Private Discord DMs There's a reasonable expectation for privacy that comes with using direct messages, but no should ever count on that. That's what some players may be discovering now that they've learned that Embark Studios' Arc Raiders was recording and storing their Discord DMs. According to Insider Gaming, the issue was uncovered by computer engineer Timothy Meadows. He discovered that when Arc Raiders was linked to players' Discord accounts, it stored their private messages locally on their PCs as well as the Discord tokens needed to access them. If Embark had been intentionally spying on its players, that could have been enough to go through all of their private messages. Embark has already acknowledged the issue and shared a hotfix to take care of it. On the game's Discord channel, Embark stated that "excessive user information" had been saved, and the company assured players that their personal info and messages weren't reviewed or stored outside of their own machines. Embark also disclosed that it will conduct an audit to make sure there are no similar incidents now or in the future.Continue Reading at GameSpot

In a YouTube comment on a TDAWG video, Activision said it understands that "rumors are part of gaming culture," along with "healthy online speculation."
