Heya! I'm Harald and this is #WhatAGameDevLooksLike. Particularly when sitting with his Mom 🙂

I'm an Indonesian-Norwegian game writer, freelancing narratively(?) in indie/AAA since 2013(!). I'm not at GDC this year, chilling instead in the very windy north of England.

Photograph of a selection of the stickers I have designed the last few years. In the middle, there is a kind of fighting fish betta thats purple, pink and with golden lines. Printed using holographic vinyl. This is the biggest sticker. And then from the top left: woman in flowy dress, dancing infront of a mirror, a knight holding a sword, a koi, a ram-skull with roses, a perfume bottle saying "BiDisaster", and a geisha hiden under it. There are many more, but placed very messily: A geisha in a red kimono, a fox-girl-chibi, a perfume bottle with the text "Pour Eux", a rainbow mandala, a woman with a brush in her hair, with the text: "Worker by day, Artist by nature", a bottle with the text: "Ters of Terfs" and a witch riding a broom. White background.

A photograph of two Sakura Kusudama, a type of origami ornament. The one on the left is bright pink, the one on the right is blue and purple. They both have tassels, beads and sequins, and I glued iridescent paper to the inside of each petal. This gives them a very shiny and sparkly feel. The background is the type of origami paper I used to make them, and they have patterns of the zodiac and starry sky.

Painting of a Fluminense swallowtail using acrylic ink. The butterfly is mostly black, the body, outer and inner parts of the wings are black or dark grey, but the middle part of the upper wings are white and the middle part of the lower wings are both red and white. The background is made using red, white and pink ink on a wet surface, giving it a watercolour look. The butterfly is painted in a realistic and detailed style.

The bill from the Tax-man got a bit steep this year, so I would love it if someone who might have been deciding to get som of my art, would decide to to so...

Photograph of 4 Kusudama, a type of Origami made by putting several folded pieces together. I have also added shiny vinyl and beads to make them reflect sunlight. They are (from left to right) hot pink, green, blue and a demure peach. They are hanging from twisted branch I have hanging in my living room, and the background is my teal velvet curtains. Shot using my Canon EOS 5D with the 100mm Macro, so the photo have a dreamlike quality, with only the blue kusudama being in focus.

I made this set last year, and as I was photographing them today, I realised that there should be a fifth ball. I am thinking yellow.

I get why people belive these videos. War footage is usually very blurry and shaky, because war is shaky and blurry.
But the people who spread this as real footage... Literally spreading mis-information during a war. To me, its a form of treason.
