Free speech is not just a policy, but a social contract.
When you justify the murder of your political opponents, you are breaking it.
For those wondering when it's time to shred the contract, the answer is never.

I had a lot of fun talking to @mrgirl.substack.com. Very thoughtful interview. mrgirl.substack.com/p/free-will-...
Andrew Tate:
- Beats, rapes, and enslaves teen girls.
- Scams men.
- Is a lying coward.
Tate is worse than Jeffrey Epstein, probably the person MAGA hates most... But he's accepted because he supports Trump.
This is what makes MAGA a cult.
I believe this is true. Not because the left was annoying, but kind of boundary-less and insane.
I don't think that means it's the left's fault, though.
The words you've all been waiting for... I've written another article about Destiny.
"How to Leave the Destiny Cult."
My goal is to help people who have already decided to leave DGG, but are struggling to escape. It may sound silly to an outsider, but these people are in pain right now.
I'm making a documentary about my former high school principal, Steve Myers.
He has decades of abuse allegations against him, some of which he's admitted are true.
Last week, two former students of his were awarded $4.5 million in a lawsuit against Santa Cruz City Schools.
Punching an annoying child in the face would feel good but be recognizably wrong to most people.
Again, you are conflating people feeling good about it with people actually thinking it was a good thing to do.
I can empathize with a murderer, but that is very different from condoning it.
People are getting confused between something feeling good and being good.
It's easy to be callous about the death of a stranger, especially when they were murdered in a way no one you know has been murdered.
But you can't fight the callousness of corporations with more callousness, even if it feels good for a second.
That is true.
Why don't the MAGA Christians and the fundamentalist Muslims just join together? Don't they both basically want Sharia law?
I suppose not everyone likes to confuse the audience, so I understand.
I really wish people could tolerate disagreement. The in-group signaling on both platforms is out of control.
Thank you for coming, female podcaster.
Lol no, I would never identify as a psychopath. I don't think I have many psychopathic traits.
It definitely feels less troll-infested. I'll try posting here more.
I don't understand why people in power are celebrated for hinting that they are keeping silent about sexual abuse for their own political gain.
On X, people think it's justifiable to mace someone for knocking on your door if they're a political opponent.
I assume people don't think that here, or at least not in the case of Fuentes. Either way, the reaction to this incident signifies to me a new acceptance of political violence in America.
That is fair.
Yeah it's pretty awful.
But the article says what the point of it is, doesn't it? To encourage people to step outside their own political cult if they are distressed by the existence of another cult.
I don't have any beef with trans people jeez. Did you read the article?
I don't think trans people are harming me and I don't dislike them.
I don't believe the progressive narrative around gender, but my skepticism doesn't come from disliking trans people.
I don't know enough about the moderation and algorithm here. I assume it wouldn't be possible on Threads but I think Dorsey is a little more open-minded, so maybe it could work here.
My new essay: "If you want to defeat the Trump cult, leave the Democrat cult."
I'm not sure splitting Twitter into two sites, one for conservatives and one for progressives, is a good idea. This seems like it will increase polarization.
"There is no good time to be a woman."
