I think it's the more exaggerated feminine proportions. The thick legs and narrow body play really nicely in the dynamicness/expressiveness imo

Probably the MG Narrative. It’s super detailed and looks fun, but the design itself I don’t really like much.
Figured it out! The V2 really, really doesn’t like holding on to equipment.
Also, the legs pop out with the slightest adjustment, so that’s something I’ll have to fix
And of course, the Assault Buster Gundam
Even unpainted this kit is absolutely gorgeous, in a way my phone camera doesn’t do justice.
I do need to figure out how to get it to hold the mega beam rifle though, the way it shows in the manual doesn’t seem to work

I did the legs wrong so the missile pods don’t attach. However, butt missiles so it all works out.

*heavy fighter, even.
it's a bit fiddly. The Top connection feels a bit loose when it's been handled, and it's one of those where there's no good place to put your hands. Once it's attached to the action base it doesn't seem to have any issues though.

The big beam cannon definitely feels less out of place with the added bulk the top brings. It’s a nice little heavy design really.

Honestly if you stand a fighter jet upright they’re pretty comparable to a Gundam
You would not believe the shear velocity the v fin fires off when I try to tuck the head away
1: idk how that base adaptor is supposed to fit
2: same with the landing gear, but just balancing seems to work
3: I’m very nervous about how the head will fold up when it’s painted

Build so far. I can see how it got a reputation for being a bit notorious. I’ve already broken one of the clips too from reading the instructions wrong, but if I can’t fix it at least it’s in a place I can work around it.
