Today I connected a statistics PhD seeking beta testers for a financial literacy app with 2 college age femmes who needed that exact education, I went to the doctor and took notes for a scared and overwhelmed twenty something, and drove one of his friends from the youth shelter to their next couch.

Illiteracy is a tool of the system that keeps us docile.

I guarantee that whatever amazing superpowers you have are needed in your local communities RIGHT NOW.

In the past week, I've reconnected with my communities here locally more than I have since moving back home in 2019. And the affirming thing is that there are so many people here in one of the reddest parts of Washington State that want to help.

I'm incredibly lucky. I have stable housing, my mom is 100% on board with helping my wife and I pay our expenses for a bit, and I've got the type of neurospicy where injustice makes me righteously and energetically FURIOUS.
