the single most un-american and anti-constitutional statement ever uttered by an american president
So the US is now kidnapping whole families and trafficking them to random countries that the US has coerced into imprisoning them for some unspecified period of time
Love it!
Why is the world broken? This is why. Everyone β and I mean everyone β needs to take a long, hard look in the mirror. We seem to have forgotten some basic truths recently. www.newscentermaine.com/article/news...

Most people don't know about this crucial resource. #ASafeChoice is a referral network of experienced physicians providing access to safe, affordable medication abortion services to women NATIONWIDE!
With potential abortion bans on the way, this is ESSENTIAL information to spread.
It helps that I was already completely insane (and had been chair before this recent nine year stint).
I would absolutely rather talk about astrophysics than health β partly because itβs where my expertise lies and partly because itβs more fun β but as a human person with a frustratingly biological existence (and friends and family who are also humans) itβs real hard to just ignore this dire stuff
Correct, it is not true of public universities (I should have been more clear on that point).
(But it also coincidentally happened at the same time as some ridiculous stuff at work.)
Actually I have been thinking about it for years, but this was specifically due to a conversation I had with one of my kids about university unions.
So hereβs something that doesnβt receive enough attention: University governing boards have no oversight. They appoint their own successors and only *they* can remove themselves. There is literally zero accountability. At least corporate boards (theoretically) answer to shareholders.
Administrators administrating. How did we get here?

Itβs mind boggling how many people actually think it is.
We have to be living in a simulation. This canβt be real.
If you see this post, can you please help spread this information?
#ASafeChoice is a referral network of physicians who provide medication abortion services ACROSS THE US.
People everywhere need to know about this option. These doctors have capacity to help more women!
Letβs spread word! β€οΈβ

Yeah the one time I met him I thought the same thing. Super nice guy.
Denver gave people experiencing homelessness $1k/month. A year later, nearly half had housing.
They also had fewer ER visits, nights spent in a hospital, and jail stays.
The report estimates that this reduction in public service use SAVED the city $589k.
