Not only is he proposing rounding people up and putting them in camps but he’s also proposing to pay for it by introducing a national tax on cannabis, which apparently is a totally fine drug unlike Lexapro

So the US is now kidnapping whole families and trafficking them to random countries that the US has coerced into imprisoning them for some unspecified period of time

Parents accused in alleged cheating scandal at Cape Elizabeth High School Moving forward, teachers will create multiple versions of their tests and students will not be allowed to take tests home after the assessments are graded.

Why is the world broken? This is why. Everyone β€” and I mean everyone β€” needs to take a long, hard look in the mirror. We seem to have forgotten some basic truths recently. www.newscentermaine.com/article/news...

It helps that I was already completely insane (and had been chair before this recent nine year stint).

I would absolutely rather talk about astrophysics than health β€” partly because it’s where my expertise lies and partly because it’s more fun β€” but as a human person with a frustratingly biological existence (and friends and family who are also humans) it’s real hard to just ignore this dire stuff

Correct, it is not true of public universities (I should have been more clear on that point).

(But it also coincidentally happened at the same time as some ridiculous stuff at work.)

Actually I have been thinking about it for years, but this was specifically due to a conversation I had with one of my kids about university unions.

So here’s something that doesn’t receive enough attention: University governing boards have no oversight. They appoint their own successors and only *they* can remove themselves. There is literally zero accountability. At least corporate boards (theoretically) answer to shareholders.
