I think I’ve finally figured out my BIGGEST pet peeve: When you order something online, get a tracking number a couple of minutes later, but then it sits at the warehouse for days and days until getting picked up. If you print the label, it should go out same or next day. Period.
I went through my pour-over phase, my aeropress phase, my espresso only phase... Now I'm in my "I'm 41 and don't have time for this crap, just give me coffee!' phase. :)
I wasn't bashing your post. I was just pointing out how some people may give you some overly complex instructions for a pour over. Like 'Let it bloom for 30 seconds' and 'Make sure to use a goose neck kettle and pour in a counter-clockwise direction' etc.

This technically still fits under the 'Social Engineering' category of cyber attacks. MitM attacks are usually perpetrated on the network level using a rouge DHCP or poisoned DNS server to intercept and redirect traffic from clients. This is more of a complex spear phish attack.
Depends on how much of an insufferable A-hole you want to be about it. Honestly, you can just put coffee in the top and pour hot water over it and you'll be good. However, the community of 'pour-over enthusiasts' will rip you a new butt hole for not doing it 'properly'.
