I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.

Das einstudierte und natürlich leicht asynchrone „packen wir ihn [den gemeinsamen Auftrag zur Gleichberechtigung] gemeinsam an“ von zwei Boomern (m/w) war ein krönender Abschluss.

Man sollte ihm auch hoch anrechnen, dass er das latente „mittlerweile werden ja eher Männer als Frauen diskriminiert“ nicht laut ausgesprochen hat.

Zum Weltfrauentag gab’s heute auf der Arbeit ein 4:11min langes Video, in dem die Hälfte der Zeit alte weiße Männer erzählen, dass Gleichberechtigung keine Privilegienverschiebung sein darf und man statt zu gendern echte Probleme angeht (tun sie nicht) und auch sonst…ja.

Aber auf der anderen Seite ist man(n) ja auch häufig sehr überrascht, dass man(n) plötzlich zu einer der Personengruppen gehört, die in diesem Land mit am häufigsten getreten wird, als hätte man das nicht vorher gewusst.

Eben dies. Es ist ja auch nicht so, als wären die „vorher-“ Probleme ab Tag X magischerweise nicht mehr existent, sodass man da gar nicht mehr relaten kann. 🌚

Irgendein Feindbild braucht man ja, wenn das Jammern über die Konsequenzen des eigenen Handelns nicht mehr ausreicht. 🙂‍↔️
