That was a 'fun' evening of speed-coding! Definitely not anyone's fault, but it's a shame there are folks out there who are intent on spamming and scamming others.

Yeah, I hope they'll like it, and with better push notifications I'm hoping the dwell time will be better
I'm really quite chuffed with this release. Adding boops clears one of the big items off my list from when I started the project, and, like media messaging, it's designed not to limit users' interactions with the wider Bluesky audience.
Big shout-out to @tranquil.farm for their fantastic PDS, too!
I've been trying for a long time to land on a name that adequately describes the 'orange one'. His latest round of whining about Spain and the UK reminds me of a spoiled child who has been told 'no' for once. Therefore, I think the name that fits best is to swap the word 'President' for 'Petulant'.
Screenshot of a headline from France 24 saying, "Russia says US used imaginary threat as pretext to overthrow legal order in Iran"
Have you looked in the mirror lately, Mister Pot?
You mean you don't know, Nige? π
I've never had a user complain about this, but it's a bit of an irritation each time I need to do testing (or it was before I added the extra URL that password)
"We called London a war zone and moved to Dubai by mistake"
Trump is playing pure politics here, sad little man. As for France, did they allow the US to use airbases in France for defensive purposes? Oh, that's right, the US has no bases in France after they were rightly asked to leave by the French after WW2. We should follow their example.
Ah I see, no I was talking about translations within an app
I don't know what that is
Well done! You've both worked tirelessly to make Tangled a thing. I hope it continues to grow!
That was a long day of writing translations. Maybe next time I'll add them as I go π€

I guess this was always going to happen; it was only a matter of time before someone built a machine to write code.
Just like someone built a machine that could make shoes.
That doesn't mean there aren't skilled people making beautiful and well-made footwear today. I am one of those cobblers.
All I would say to those developers is: be careful; when you don't use something actively, you lose it. It's quite easy to read code and make sense of it, but if you don't actively write code, you will begin to lose that ability.
There are a lot of career developers who write code simply as a job, the ones who never open an IDE when they're off the clock. For them, writing code with AI in this 'hands-off' approach must feel great. But for someone like me, the fun is in the process that gets me to the end result.
I didn't become a software developer simply as a job, I write code because I love it. The excitement that comes when the program compiles and runs perfectly, or the sense of accomplishment from finally fixing that persistent bug. It's something I never get bored with feeling.
Today I used the Ralph Wiggum technique (mandated by my client) to implement a story, and I feel so deflated. I like to use AI as a (usually) helpful assistant; it adds to the fun of writing code. But today, that fun was completely sucked out of the process.

My point exactly, the BBC these days feels as though it's staffed by a bunch of halfwits cosplaying broadcasters, it's lost all gravitas.
I stopped watching the BBC and live telly, then cancelled my TV licence, after their "news" became little more than a loudspeaker for the right-wing. The BBC used to stand for unimpeachable quality; this avoidable incident is another example of how far they've fallen and how little they care.
This needs to be shared and repeated; all the boat crossings are a direct result of Brexit. If you talk to anyone who is thinking of voting for Reform, please tell them about this.

I'm sure the people of Clacton are pleased to see him taking their concerns so seriously...
Brazilβs Amazon deforestation continues to decline into early 2026, with AugustβJanuary clearing at its lowest for the period since 2014.
Annual detected loss also fell to a 2014 low, with the Cerrado seeing declines too. Officials credit stronger enforcement, but long-term risks remain.
It should work on all networks
promotional graphic for 'The Other Half Returns,' featuring a transparent illustration of a smartphone with a modular back cover exposing internal circuitry. The text invites users to help design the first modules and vote on features for the open innovation platform. It mentions that if 10,000 pre-orders are reached, The Other Half will be unlocked, and encourages users to join the innovation program.
Whoops
An informational graphic showing three distinct, user-replaceable color options: Snow White (a light white circle), Kaamos Black (a deep black circle), and The Orange (a vibrant orange circle). The text on the left reads 'Available in distinct user replaceable colours,' followed by a bulleted list of the three color names.
I guess you didn't see this...
Which orange would you have preferred, one of these?
Orange Is the New Black
"Orange Crush" by R.E.M
A Clockwork Orange
Orange Chicken
Agent Orange
Orange Telecom
Thanks, just added them to my moderation lists
We've been hard at work on a new website with new guides, better docs, more translations, even our very own blog. We think it looks pretty sharp, too. It's now easier than ever to just build things with AT Protocol.
