There are so many event halls in Toronto, and they chose... poorly. Also, Mother Nature truly hates Magic nerds; one of the coldest weekends in the 5 years I've lived here.

The new powered cube has been a refreshing change of pace. I’ve gone from losing to Boros on MTGO to losing to Boros on Arena
Mostly Street Fighter 6 which I haven’t played since SF4.
But I also started playing GGS again. Potemkin Supremacy!
Started playing fighting games again after a 5-year break. I want to play some locals, but I know I'm going to lose so hard.

This “solo dev” and “only 3 devs” rhetoric is getting truly dangerously out of hand. Investors see this and think “I only have to pay 3 people” and the result is severely overworked and/or underpaid people and a subpar product. We need to stop treating outsourcers and contractors like ghosts.

3rd and final draft of the weekend, once again Pink Sleeves with a new 90 card module to support 10 players. I returned to my UW roots and got to kill folks with Aetherling and Second Sun.
As much as I liked my deck it could not compare to 4C Storm Control by Dom in a Cube with no combos. 2nd pic.
Didn’t get a pic of my 2nd draft of my Graveyard Bar Cube as we were racing the bars closing time. Got a great 5 person draft though with a good mix of grindy decks and speed gamers to get us out of the bar faster.
I got triple Accumulate Knowledge after only drafting 60% of the cube so I was happy.
Pink Sleeves draft #1 with some lands shenanigans // 2-1. Deck performed better than I was expecting churning through with Icetill into Field of the Dead + Garruk or a fat Hydroid Krasis.
I don’t play lands often but this scratched the itch I didn’t know I had.
Solid weekend of Cubing concluded (yes I’m counting Monday as the weekend). Double draft on the Friday with some fellow sickos into a 3rd draft on the Monday.
