Six months ago in September I cobbled together a Linux desktop (Bazzite) for gaming. In addition I bought a 512MB NVME, a 2TB SATA SSD and a 32GB DDR4 Ram kit.

Those three parts cost NZ$401.25 altogether. To get the same specs today it'd be $1058. And that's for the last gen AM4 socket.
