In the desert, Ghost Rider has jumped over the front of his motorcycle to tackle the running away Water Wizard. Ghost Rider has his arms wrapped around the front of the villians groin as they fall are about to fall face down flat on the ground with the panicked villian exclaiming, "Don't--GNNGHH!"

1970s John Romita Sr. - or is it Ross Andru - drawn Peter Parker. He looks sad and wistful upward as we see him from his head to collar. "Longer than you KNOW, Ms.Watson," he thinks, "Longer than you can EVER know!" At the bottom is narration: "With a snap like a released RUBBER BAND, Peter's mind flashes BACKWARD in time."

Golden Age Superman stands head to thigh alone in a panel black at the top and red on the bottom where Superman stands pointing at the reader as he says, "Be wary of unscrupulous operators of gambling games--they are always on the look out for unsuspecting victims."

Walking down a New York street. It's dark outside, but cars, damaged objects are all on fire. Through the fire and smoke, Fantastic Four She-Hulk walks down a street saying, "Yeah, that's the attitude, Jenny-poo! POSITIVE THINKING!"

Black and white Manga Batman is in a room, background framed by what looks like upper class wood paneling. He looks to the right of the panel with a hand held out as he says, "Yes, ma'am. May I have a look at it?"

Inside an unidentifiable building are five shiloetted men in ball caps, we see them from behind in the foreground looking up an airborne Wonder Woman who has wrapped her lasso around all of them.  "CALM your MINDS...," instructs Wonder Woman. "Wh-wh...," says one siloetted man. "...SEE the TRUTH," she says. Man on far right says confused, "...Wonder Woman...?"

A Steve Ditko panel - in which he doesn't exactly draw in any detail, we see Alpha Flight's Northstar, Sasquatch and Aurora talking to two men in suits, their backs to us. Narration: "Then after the training session has reached its climax...." Brown suit man points at the trio, "We cannot jeopardize American relations! You must operate--"  "--without official sanction!" finishes the man in the blue suit. The faces of the Alphans amount to basically stick lines for eyes, nose, mouth and chin."

Extreme close up of the Black Panther masked face. We see his eyes and bridge of his nose raised beneath his mask. He says, "If you believe that, then you are a man wearing blinders...or more likely a man who chooses not to see. Or you would see these faces of the people who have to live here...you would see discontent that does not become carved into a face in a day."

1966 era Catwoman, Batman & Robin and !977 Wonder Woman walk towards the entrance of a Greek/Roman marble building on the hidden island of Themyscria. As attractive women in the forground look over their shoulds behind the quartet, Batman says, "Understandable. It's my hope that here in the 20th centure we are finally shedding that penchant for conflict." Robin chimes in as if this helps, "Batman's greatest wish is for world peace."

Guy Gardner in his Warrior era stands head to knee, smoke billowing. His body is in mid transformation, adding weaponery sticking out of his arms. He looks down and forward facing us and says to someone off panel, "It ends now, demons!"

From the 1944 Batman comic strip, a man, maybe Bruce Wayne, in a double breasted suit and fedora and pretty well-dress woman are in a park, looking out at a lake where a swan is majestically minding its own business.  She says, "A swan- a dangerous bird? But they're so beautiul, so innocent looking-" He cuts her off. "Innocent LOOKING. That's just the trouble! People don't know how visious [sic] they CAN BE!"
