Grimicing in pain, Thor stands between a brick wall and a apparent rocket car that's blasting him. He thinks, "Balder's blade, the pain--!Yet I dare not abandon my position to silence the guns lest the rocket-car sweep past and demolish the very edifice I am sworn to protect." Narration: "Unnoticed by Thor, a lithe shape leaps to the vehicle's hood...." The lithe shape is a cat jumping atop the rocket-car.
Wolverine apparently indoors, a background like the Danger Room or something is seen from head to waist from his right side as he lights a cigerate or something and says, "Maybe it's just the way o' the world that did it. Maybe the dream is DEAD. Maybe we should all stop pretendin' it ain't--" Thanks, Logan.

"CALM your MINDS...," instructs Wonder Woman. "Wh-wh...," says one siloetted man. "...SEE the TRUTH," she says. Man on far right says confused, "...Wonder Woman...?"
A Steve Ditko panel - in which he doesn't exactly draw in any detail, we see Alpha Flight's Northstar, Sasquatch and Aurora talking to two men in suits, their backs to us.
