One year working to ensure the EU serves its citizens with accountability, transparency, and fairness.

We welcome European Commission overall constructive reply to our findings in a series of inquiries concerning urgent decision making.
While the Commission was not obliged to publish any calls in 2025, even if partnership agreements with NGOs already existed, it still has a duty to communicate with stakeholders in a timely and transparent way on decisions that directly affect them.
𧡠2/2
We have asked the European Commission why it did not proactively inform partner NGOs that, due to budget cuts, it would not publish any call for grants under the EU4Health programme in 2025.
𧡠1/2
Good exchange today between European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde and Ombudswoman Anjinho.
The meeting aimed to strengthen cooperation, deepen understanding of our work, and enhance the effectiveness of our inquiries and solutions.
