A question and answer format post. The question, from Greenlows: Other than the Cirqus Voltaire pinball table, if you could have any physical media game (arcase cabinet, console, cartridge, board game, whatever) what would be at the top of your list? Also, is there a game you physically own that you're especially proud of already? The answer, from Saralene Starfall: Truth be told, I don't buy physical games much at all anymore, for a bunch of different reasons but mostly space and convenience are big things. Obviously arcade machines would be exceptions to this. The too-obvious answer would be something like a real Pop'n Music cabinet, if I could have any. But my less predictable answer is that I'd like to have a real cabinet of Numan Athletics. I played it at an arcade growing up, and I became absolutely enamored with it, especially when I set a "world record" high score. I thought it was literally the record in the entire world because I was a pretty dumb little girl! Then, when that machine went away mere weeks later, I didn't know what the game was or what it was called for many, many years. When I finally discovered it again, I was extremely happy. I'm proud of my "DDR machine". It's not a real one, but something I've set up and maintained myself, with very high-quality metal pads. But I wouldn't count that either. I should make a thread for my Alterspring answers.
I think I'll do that, and occasionally post some of the older ones too.

I was going to stream a bunch of Sonic games as Amy but it seems like someone messed with my Genesis. Oh well, it still turns on, I'm sure it will be fine
[this is a bit, and I'm using Sonic Origins anyway]

One of the most used GB/C cores has horribly wrong audio. Otherwise a fairly accurate core yet the audio, the AUDIO... It's so freaking funny that the more things change the more they stay the same.
Bucky O'Hare, Mega Man 5, Adventures in the Magic Kingdom, and Adventures of Lolo 3
It was the NES... we had the Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt double cart (and eventually like a hundred other things)
You know, the reason I hate "small talk" is definitely because no one in the conversation actually cares about it. It's just a ritual.
I'm perfectly happy to talk about minuscule, unimportant stuff with someone if it's something they *actually* want to talk about.
No one cares about the traffic.
This is a nice chest
This is also a haiku

Damn, even reviews are being pushed back in this economy
Older KoF games keep the defender in blockstun if you keep switching between standing and crouching guard. Doing so also locks up the AI, so you can do some pretty cheesy stuff if you are a bit more consistent at it than I am.
If I could be defined by a mere 9 games I would be nowhere near this powerful (or cute)
A small magical catgirl, Saralene, wears a cardboard box that says "Gasoline" on the front.

Tomorrow I'm stream. I'm doing significantly better.

The original 1989 U-Force care & instructions manual. There's a red pattern on black-and-white static, and a photo of the device itself.
FROM OUT OF THE FUTURE... UFORCE! POWER FIELD CONTROLLER FOR YOUR NINTENDO ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM. The cover of the booklet shows a generic superhero-looking guy zooming from the background, surrounded by sparkles, holding the U-Force controller aloft in his left hand. His belt has a "U" on it.
You vs the guy she told you not to worry about.

I don't want to catastrophize, I just want you guys to stay informed.
I hate going without streaming for long periods of time. When I am up to the task, I will do it. I love streaming, and I care about all of you.
I'm figuring things out. Please don't worry too severely about me in the meantime.
My health is still not great. I'm doing what I can.
This is probably the year where I really have to address a bunch of things, despite the fact that it will be far more expensive than I can afford.
I don't want to get too deep into it right now.
I just hope all of you are doing better than I am.
