anyway this is sort of why i hyperfixate on a lot of games and series, and why i bounce off of gacha. luckily i also care about hanging out with friends, so complete hermit is unlikely.

even if i were theoretically immortal i think this would still get to me, i think i'm just shackled by not being able to experience as much as i'd like in one lifetime, and there's not really a fix for that.

there's so many cool people to get to know, but i have to let that pass me by because i have my own life, my current friends, my schedules... it makes sense to say it out loud but there is the yearning to know and know and know and doesn't it kill you to not know? in this way i am nonhuman.

biggest thing i'm noticing so far is that you need to make different plans and assumptions about card pools and energy, so drafting on sts1 instinct keeps biting me in the ass lmao

it's very nice that they've made the returning characters ( ← hasn't played Defect yet here ) play differently with the same types of card pool? i'm still figuring out how to adjust to the new Silent (Ironclad a0 was fine but it's gonna be rough climbing), and the new cast is amazing to play too
