Well, now I know what happens when you accidentally remove the verification files atproto uses to verify your domain handle. π€£ All fixed now, but geesh. It's been like that for a few weeks now before I even noticed!

I had not listened to @mourningcandle.bsky.social yet, but I'm liking what I heard here!
It's Industrial/GothicMetal, appropriately synth-heavy with an awesome vocalist, really cool guitarwork and tasteful drum-programming.
Great lyrics, too!
Highly, highly recommended!

Thanks to #NashvilleVoyager for the interview about navigating a still male-dominated music industry and defending lyricism and vocals as powerful instruments in their own right. πͺ πΆ

Nice! Classic!
Which did you order?
Since itβs been well over 40 years since I first laid my hands on the #c64, Iβm feeling like I want to dig into and try to actually learn to program 6502 assembly. As if I donβt have too many projects and interests already. π€£ What can I say? The C64U has me inspired!
Sweet! Congratulations!

I declare that 2026 is the year we start finding our way back to the future we were promised. C=
A quick little nod to the company behind the first computer I ever owned, @commodoreofficial.bsky.social ! Ecstatic over all of the accolades they're getting for the new retro-futuristic C64 Ultimate. Can't wait to get my hands on one!
When we miss the Old Internet it's not just nostalgia, it's missing a time when online culture was driven by people who were really good at written communication rather than people who really liked to be on camera and hear themselves talk.
Iβm thrilled by how well your music is being received! Proud to be a part of it! ππ½ππ€π€
Thank you!
Very kind of you! Thank you! π

I'm not sure an additional feature is appropriate, but from my standpoint, members of a list are accounts that you are looking at without establishing any connection beyond general interest (e.g. reading a magazine), and following does establish that connection in some way (via active subscription)
Here's a nice example from this very post, utilizing label feeds to help contextualize things like links. Nobody HAS TO subscribe to ANY of it, but they CAN. If Skywatch isn't to their taste, they can find a label curator that does, create their own, or not use labels at all. Same for filtering.
I do think perhaps Bsky could do more work in having easy tutorials and getting the word out so that can be understood more broadly. (5/5)
They can, of course, be untrustworthy themselves, but there's always a sense of personal responsibility in selecting trusted sources/curators to apply their filters against your own feed. (4/5)
We often rely on individual list curators who we can select ourselves and who have done the work to apply filters in various different ways to achieve a certain goal (usually descibed in the list). (3/5)
Bsky doesn't and shouldn't ban anyone, by design. They are responsible for providing the users with the tools to do so in a manner of THEIR choosing, such as lists + blocklists. (2/5)
I feel the need to rant. Please indulge me:
This article seems to have a fundamental lack of understanding as to how @bsky.app functions. In Bsky, the power is in the enduser's hands as to what they want and don't want to see, and by default you get everything. (1/5)
