Couple things here:
1. What the fuck
2. I am allllllmost more offended by the suggestion that I would give this shitbox edit than having my identity stolen
3. The CEO is scheduled to be on Decoder soon and we will see if they back out!

a thing historians will marvel about when they study this era is the extent to which the "war is a thing that happens to poorer, browner people" class went about systematically dismantling every aspect of the global political order that confined the costs of war to poorer and browner people

San Franciscoβs first-ever Black history bike ride pedals off in Bayview
Around 150 people pedaled from Downtown to Bayview for a day of history, celebration, and exercise.
Bayview resident Janet Allen-Williams has been to 19 Black History Month events this year.
But yesterday's was the first in which she spent the whole time sitting on a bike seat.

Every company that has government contracts will be barred from using Claude code.
It is an attempt to outright destroy the company because they did not consent to mass surveillance of Americans and AI kill bots.

College Campuses Are in Upheaval Over Faculty Ties to Epstein
From small art schools to large public universities, the new DOJ release of emails reveals just how deep the financierβs influence in academia went. Students are demanding accountability.
The Epstein documents released weeks ago are full of university administrators, professors, and trustees. With students demanding transparency and accountability from their schools, academia faces a nationwide reckoning over how it courts and indulges deep-pocketed benefactors.

The Epstein files document what many women researchers have long experienced but rarely seen laid bare so starkly: exclusion operating behind closed doors, shaping who gets funded, invited, mentored, and taken seriously. How many of these networks, norms, and gatekeepers remain in place?

Mamdani has named Lisa Gelobter as the city's new CTO, a great choice on many levels. She cares about the city and about New Yorkers, she has strong technical chops *and* a strong focus on equity, and she knows how to get things done

For those unaware, Space has already shifted focus to building a self-growing city on the Moon, as we can potentially achieve that in less than 10 years, whereas Mars would take 20+ years.
The mission of SpaceX remains the same: extend consciousness and life as we know it to the stars.
It is only possible to travel to Mars when the planets align every 26 months (six month trip time), whereas we can launch to the Moon every 10 days (2 day trip time). This means we can iterate much faster to complete a Moon city than a Mars city.
That said, SpaceX will also strive to build a Mars city and begin doing so in about 5 to 7 years, but the overriding priority is securing the future of civilization and the Moon is faster.β
BREAKING: βin my 24th year of my quest to settle the planet Mars, I have just been informed of a basic fact of celestial mechanics.β
