You cannot “personal responsibility” your way out of a rigged system. That's why helping someone pay for an abortion is a radical act of community care.

We're here to help Texans access abortion & repro care by helping them pay for it. We help people in 110 counties in north, east, and west Texas. Need help? Text us 1-844-832-3863. Visit our site at teafund.org

Today, the House is voting on the so-called “Supporting Pregnant and Parenting Women and Families Act.”
But don’t be fooled—this bill would only make it easier for states to take money from families who need it and instead funnel it to anti-abortion CPCs that provide misinformation, not care.
When the need is urgent, we meet it with care and safety. Alexandra’s story shows how TEA Fund shows up for families. Help stock the next infant care drive. Give, volunteer, or share.

White quote card on a magenta dotted background with Texas Equal Access Fund 20-year seal. Headline reads “20 Years 20 Stories.” Quote from Board President Andree Ziweslin-Hartley about staff and board coming together during difficult times with check-ins, emotional support, and side-by-side decisions. "In difficult seasons, I’ve watched our staff and board come together by checking in, offering emotional support, and making decisions side by side. It’s a relief to be with like-minded people where you can speak honestly and be met with care, feedback, and the kind of support that helps you keep doing the work."
Care is a practice, not a slogan. Andree’s story shows how our staff and board show up for each other so we can show up for you.
If you cannot give today: share this. Ask your employer to match. Host a diaper drive with friends. Monthly gifts keep the fund steady.
When leaders cut programs, communities step up. Mutual aid keeps families afloat. We do this because kids and caregivers deserve dignity, stability, and choice. It’s how we stay true to our reproductive justice values.
You can help today. Donate to our infant and childcare supplies fund so we can keep support going for more days of the month. Give at teafund.org/donate.
Did you know that in addition to abortion and preventive repro care funding, Texas Equal Access Fund provides diapers, wipes, and formula to parents in need? This program is one of our most requested because the need is huge. We run out of money in just a few days at the start of each month.
Radical compassion looks like helping someone pay for their abortion.
the phrasing on prop 15 is wildly misleading so it will probably pass but if you live in tx go vote specifically so you can vote against it if nothing else. this from @teafund.org
Richard Webber is wearing scrubs and a white coat. He is leaning on a metallic wall with his arms crossed looking serious.
Webber activates the alumni network. He calls former residents to seed a Chief’s Circle donor club for the local abortion fund. He loops in Catherine Fox so the Fox Foundation backs direct services that help funds cover procedures and travel.
Jo Wilson is wearing pink scrubs and sitting in a chair. She is looking to her right and a smiling sweetly.
Jo is all about trauma-informed care. When a partnership opportunity arises, she helps her local abortion fund set up a mental health counseling fund and a peer support circle led by people who have had abortions. She kicks it off with a fundraiser and locks in a monthly donation.
Callie Torres wearing scrubs and a white coat is in a bathroom. She is giving someone a serious look.
Dr. Callie Torres loves community, connection, and loud queer joy. She sponsors the fund’s annual queer variety night, where drag and burlesque shine and every ticket supports abortion seekers. She also boosts repro kit info on her socials so people know where to find EC, tests, and condoms.
Amelia Shepherd is sitting on a stool in scrubs and her white coat. She's looking at the camera and smiling cutely.
Dr. Amelia Shepherd understands stigma. She speaks about her own path to recovery and stigma, connecting how they relate to abortion. She launched a “skip a latte, fund a ride” donation challenge with her colleagues to help the local fund cover logistics for people traveling to get abortion care.
Cristina Yang wearing scrubs and her white coat while posing and looking fierce
Dr. Cristina Yang has had abortions and knows access changes everything. She ties a matching grant with surgical attendings tied to OR start time. Start late, give more. Efficiency is her love language, so she is a monthly giver because the best way to help someone get an abortion is to pay for it.
Dr. Miranda Bailey wearing scrubs and her white coat. She looks strong and powerful.
After Roe, Dr. Miranda Bailey launched a repro care clinic. She knows choice means nothing without access, so she partners with her local fund to keep income from being a barrier. She tracks outcomes, co-writes grants, and organizes payroll giving to keep the local abortion fund’s support steady.
A picture of Addison Montgomery looking ahead in a sweet angelic way
Dr. Addison Montgomery teaches doctors how to perform various abortion procedures. She also created a referral pathway so patients leave with a one pager to the helpline, the local abortion fund, and travel support. She seeds a weekend microgrant with her speaker fees.
A picture of Meredith Grey giving mother
Dr. Meredith Grey backs patients failed by the system. Remember when she risked everything to help a young immigrant girl? She knows cost blocks care, so she adds abortion fund info to patient packets at Grey Sloan. Then she starts a monthly donor challenge. Lowest donor buys coffee for the pit.
Paging Grey's Anatomy fans! In honor of tonight’s premiere, we imagined how our faves would back their local abortion fund. From Bailey’s pragmatism to Cristina’s efficiency, the takeaway is simple: donate monthly, share resources, and help people get to their appointments. Check out our thread!
When you narrow it down to people who support abortion access AND fully embrace reproductive justice, it goes to 100%.
I’ve always found this to be true
FACT: People who support abortion access are 72% hotter than people who don't.
Trans people are wonderfully made in God’s image.
