Three things I'll try to do better in the next decade:
1. Recognize when it's time to move on.
2. Block out more time to read and learn.
3. Be more outgoing. Life is short, have fun!

Going into my 30s, I feel like I have a solid foundation to build on, plenty to learn, and lots of wonderful and supportive people around me. Next week I'll be moving from Amman to Abu Dhabi (my wife is starting a new job), so it feels like the start of a new chapter for both of us.
- Having the chance to mentor someone for the first time.
- Getting called up to play rock, paper, scissors at Laracon '19 in NY for Tighten's sponsor slot, meeting Keith, being a client of Tighten's for 5 years, and then eventually joining Tighten's team.
Career:
- Stumbling into the Laravel community at the start of my career.
- Meeting really smart people who were generous with their time and helped me grow.
- People who gave me a chance to prove myself.
- Living and working in NYC.
- Experiencing lots of interesting mistakes and learning from them
Family:
- Living near my family most of the time.
- Spending lots of time around my 3 living grandparents.
- Seeing my 3 sisters grow up.
- Living with my dad in NY during Covid for a few months. Turns out he's a great cook!
