FYI for fellow narrative designers/game writers: the studio in question is Sentona Games and it’s my understanding they are currently interviewing to replace me. Be very careful with them. They were very nice to me and easy to work with right up until I needed the money I was promised.

The US and Israel are bombing Iran. Anyone reporting it as “preventive” is engaging in propaganda, by definition. There is no interpretation of what’s happening as anything else than a crime.
You don’t have to like the Iranian regime to understand why this is bad.
I'm worried that it might involve some fava beans and a nice Chianti.
Microsoft is not going to fix your problem unless you have an enterprise support contract. They've outsourced tech support for everyone else to unpaid volunteers whose only qualification is plenty of free time to type out unhelpful answers in broken English to half-understood questions.
It looks like the EFI firmware is failing to load the boot loader, possibly because the installation process was interrupted at the worst possible moment. The simplest solution is most likely to start over.
An injection molder can make millions of whistles per day but it cannot make ten thousand whistles tomorrow (you have to make the molds first). Nor can it make two thousand whistles each in five different color schemes, or with five different slogans on them today, and five other slogans tomorrow.

Correct. But Victorians invented the popular narrative about them: that witch hunts were a medieval phenomenon, that witches were burned at the stake, that witch hunts were conducted by religious authorities, that only (or even mostly) women were accused, that midwives were particularly targeted.
It's the one that isn't Teams. Teams is the one that isn't Slack. Both of them are not Discord. All three of them are not Zoom. Splat is in beta. I hear good things about Yoink.
c) Relatively few people have biomedical implants, much less detectable ones (most use NFC with a range measured in inches), while nearly everybody has a phone. So while you could in theory track people by their implants for advertising purposes, it's not worth the trouble. Just track their phones.
b) So what could this actually be used for? Well, you could put receivers inside electronic billboards or in-store displays so they can target the ads that they show to who's around. But...
That sounds good in theory, but Guthrie's pacemaker uses BTLE or a similar low-energy protocol with a _very_ short range. You'd have to get within a few feet of her to detect it. So this can only work if her abductors have the tracking app installed and fail to observe basic opsec.
The basic idea is somewhat similar to Find My or COVID trackers: get everybody to run an app on their phone that keeps track of what other devices they “see” around them. Put out an alert for a specific device, get everyone to automatically report their location if they “see” that device.
I'm not going to bother looking at it in detail but off the top of my mind, this a) can't possibly work for the stated purpose, b) absolutely could work for other purposes such as targeted advertising, but c) isn't worth the trouble. Explanation follows —
tons of software is being produced, practically none of it is being released
It's one of the oldest processed cheese products in existence, over a century old. It's a mixture of cream and melted cheese plus various chemicals to make it shelf-stable. Only children like it.
Umm. It's weird processed crap over here too, nothing like Philadelphia at all.

So many men named in the Epstein files say "I was only emailing him for financial advice, something I now hugely regret of course" and then the email is "hi j-dawg, loved partying with you and the naughty little girls this weekend, same again soon, bestie?" and Epstein replying "me am sayy yse . !1"
