Indeed. The EPL isn't looking good for the Spurs as the dregs slowly but surely crawl up from the relegation zone into the bright light of the day.
The end of the working week reporting means a suitable soundtrack to bridge us into the much-anticipated knock-off drinks. I've got a new bottle of rhum to open. What are you drinking, #bluesky
Lost Highway Soundtrack for the win. It is loud at Chez Ashby. π

Knock-off drinks in the mild Amsterdam sun. The posh lad has football duties this afternoon. Perfect conditions for both important activities, I reckon. Cheers! #bluesky π

Pleasure is the weapon you use to weld the shattered guts back together from the inside, while the outside is still a comprehensive, documented disaster, and nobody has handed you anything that resembles a fixed certificate.
The dog should be destroyed and the owner fined $25,000.
A message appeared in the Group Building chat from a lovely little old lady downstairs. She asked for help to move a few things in her flat. Posh boy @ashbym.bsky.social volunteered, yet he returned 45 minutes later, all sweaty. He moved all her furniture around! (I am cooking, don't look at me!) π
RTFM and all of that?
Can't. The owner told us off as word got back. The cat was getting fat. We rarely see her.
Heaps of stuff leftover from the small party at the gaff the night before we went on holiday. There wasn't any motivation to clean up anything that wouldn't ultimately smell.
Happy Taco Tuesday, #bluesky
I've gone to the mall earlier than usual this week to run errands. Then Lidl to dump excess waste. Must procure goods for the Ash-b-q (BBQ) on the balcony later this week, taking advantage of the gloriously mild sunny weather in A'dam. A herring sandwich for the win!
In this mad world, we must smile at the little things.
Like when the posh boy @ashbym.bsky.social lounges on the couch reading, with a pillow between his legs to keep his knees from touching. Ouch! π

About fathers and fault lines. The friction that shapes a person when everything else is stripped away.
Because friction isnβt the enemy.
Itβs the material.
And the material, if youβre brave enough to use it, is everything.
Why should the Spurs pay these fines and the fans be penalised by dickheads? It is such a cash grab. Go after the offenders! Weak as piss #UEFA money hungry grubs!

I told someone to ringfence the catering system because it is vulnerable, unpatched, unsupported, etc.
Oh, but people complained. How will they get their meetings catered?

The food at corporate was awful!
I am really looking forward to an uneventful workweek with nothing planned for a change. Just errands, chores and tasks.
But first, clean sheets are on the bed. Tumble dry and dishwasher running. A return to domestic bliss.
Good night, #bluesky π
Not sure if I liked Scream 7 or not. It seems to be the movie that the original Scream made fun of. Is it supposed to be ironic? Bit of a giggle.
The good news is I didn't waste time watching Spurs lose to Fulham. More good news: Brighton beat Forest, keeping Nottingham in the relegation zone.
Sometimes the cinemas screen the "original versions" with local subtitles. For example, I watched "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" in Munich. The English language with German subtitles on opening night. Watched "Black Phone" in Spain in English with Spanish subs...
At Allianz the beer was free but nobody threw it. Go to the boozer, pay 7β¬ for a pint then throw it at the final siren. Wild. π₯³
Happy Sunday, #bluesky
I'm happy our flight is delayed by minutes instead of being cancelled with the war going on.
Munich was epic. Visit if you can.
Got to get back to Amsterdam to see Scream 7 before it is spoiled. It was playing in German only here. Go figure!
What are you up to today?
Never have I ever experienced shouting, carry-on and beer throwing as just now at the boozer in the @fcbayernmunich.bsky.social win against Dortmund. @ashbym.bsky.social the posh boy was jumping up and down, lost his pint! π€£
LOL
Must have been a Dortmund supporter. The blokes in the kebab shop came out to see what was going on. The bloke was *loud* desperate for a Pauliner π€£
Probably from Leichtenstein. They are very impatient in Vaduz because nothing is happening.
We're sitting near Marienplatz in Munich with our beers, chatting and watching the world go by. Suddenly a male Karen starts shouting like the rapture is upon us because the server was chatting with another server, presumably wanting service. Chill out bro (they threw him out)
Yet they can't get rid of them from the Sydney Botanical Gardens using this method for decades.
30 minutes ago, Baz.
