I think instead of buying 24 paints (because I have an empty 24 paint rack lol) for dry brushing I'm going to get the middle color of @thearmypainter.bsky.social "flexible triad" series from Warpaints Fanatic and just use black/white for obvious reasons.

another caveat: this is probably not the best for the oil, but the 10 minute thing does give it time to warm up, at least. But I don't drive the car much and the oil is changed regularly despite mostly just sitting around.

the most I let the car sit is a week & a half or so in warm weather. winter I don't go past a week as at this battery's age it struggles a bit to start at the week mark. Maybe a day extra.
Done this going on 3 years at this point. the idling thing is for when I don't want to lose a good spot lol
I picked 8-10 minutes based off reading about people's experiences on how long they drove to recharge a battery. It took a short time to recharge what it took to start the car.
Previously I drove the car for half an hour every time lol.
The battery is a cheap walmart battery that's lasted 4 years
I have a car I either drive or start up and idle once a week. trickle charger, solar, etc are not an option (apartment parking garage). I try to drive it, but I have let it idle for 10 minutes (max) and never have a problem. A lot, in summer, winter, etc. so I've done it vs talking out my ass lol
so it's mostly the D20 that doesn't quite fit. The rest fit, the D12 is about the size of some D20s >_> But the lid does close, the D20 goes partially into a slot. I guess I'll keep them. The D6 is 14mm and I like that size D6 Β―\_(γ)_/Β―

2000 RPMish has always been my target, I forget where I got that from but it might have been the owner's manual of a car I had when I was looking into jump start procedures. That's fine for a cold engine. I only hold it there for a couple seconds then let it drop back to idle.
No issues getting out of bed this morning. Feel pretty energetic. Wondering if I was just sick (or bad brain as well). I was light-headed/face fuzzy Wednesday.

Briefly rev the engine above 2k RPM or so, some won't really engage the alternator at just startup and idling.

Huel stopped reminding me of upcoming subscriptions, and then charged me. I emailed them the same day asking to cancel and was politely told it's too bad they can't but hey it lasts a long time in storage. They also told me how to manage it myself in the future (I know how).

The Bambu A1 Mini is on sale for $220 at the moment, and it prints extremely well and stands with its larger brethren very well. Half the price of a P2S in case kiddo gets bored with it
P2S can do a lot more, I own one, and still almost bought an A1 Mini just to have another printer XD
