for order of operations i have my own method of doing it, but the shunting yard algorithm looks by far to be way better, I just dont know how to expand ita feature set to support my own custom ideas beyond just arithmetic evaluation

so im still going with my own method as I know how to maintain it

ive gone from just parsing and mutating strings, to using buffers for processing, to then cutting down used buffers by over half in this third iteration, all with massive gains each groundbreaking step

writing a custom scripting language, even just a small chunk of it, is so challenging to get down in a performant way

ive been stuck for several days rewriting the expression parsing system for my upcoming app and its been hell, im on like, iteration 3

vent arts usually don't have the luxury of having a lot of time spent making perfect lines and erasing mistakes, i just let whatever is on my mind flow

i think with those limitations, this came out nice.
