Yeah it's a really bizarre game, like an amalgamation of so many late 2000-10s games - QTE's, explosions, cover mechanics (that barely work), awkward turret and vehicle sequences, bosses that go on, and on, and on...despite all this though it's still a laugh so I'll give it that 🤷🏻♂️

Have been playing it in co-op and while id agree it's a pretty bad resi game it's actually a fun action game. Along with being utterly ridiculous and nonsensical. Some parts have had us in absolute stitches 😆
Finishing RE9 has put me right in the mood for more Leon combat so RE4R replay it is 🔥
Cant wait to properly get into PMA, LOVED Paradise Killer by that team! You're in for a fantastic time with Tunic and Slay the Princess 🔥
Heard great things about both, and played the demo for PMA and enjoyed it, looking forward to *eventually* getting to them 😆

Enjoying Esoteric Ebb so far. One detail I really like about it are the session notes. This updates as progress is made and gives a nice overview/reminder of what I was up to the last time I played, it's even signed off by the dev!
More games should do this kinda thing!

I feel like a part of it is being exposed to it. I grew up terrified of horror related stuff, avoided it like the plague 😆 then in my 20s I decided to just dive in and play/watch some stuff and eventually overcame the fear. Now I love it! Wont be the same for everyone ofc but that worked for me.
