Oh yeah it's come to the point where treating OpenSSL 3 and the 1.1 forks as mostly-separate libraries was the easier solution in BIND
(and its not fun)

I wish I had the passion in life as some people do with stupid strings that will only be written once and never come to mind again
Imagine research progression, couldn't be me

Denying trans kids puberty blockers is child abuse at best, but realistically it's torture.
Some simple cheap safe medicine could prevent them from needing to spend tens of thousands of dollars/pounds on treatments to partially reverse the changes to their bodies they never wanted.

Welcome to all my new followers from the Starter Packs and what not. Here's a fun fact:
C2y has adopted C++'s rules for pointer arithmetic, making null + 0 a safe, non-UB, well-defined operation.
Similarly, we allow null pointer and 0 into all functions taking a pointer plus a size for input.
Are they higher quality because they are even more disgusting? ๐ค
EVP_CIPHER_CTX_ctrl is legacy from their doc and has replaced the function with a shim that uses ...this
I'm not sure if legacy means *deprecated* though because wtf is "tag"
I really don't know what made OpenSSL switch to a string based interface, it just feels weird ๐ฎโ๐จ
super horrible openssl code with ossl params struct
Don't worry, they saw though the insanity and provided a new interface that is super intuitive with OpenSSL 3.0 ๐ซ
NEW EPISODE!
Signal is becoming post-quantum! Was the same-origin policy in web browers just a dirty hack all along? Did certificate transparency catch TLS interception?? Put this in your ears to find out!
